  • LOVE THIS SONG! Whenever I visit Rawhide Western town in Arizona, I always make tons of requests for this song with every artist that plays there even though they have played it a zillion times.

  • Everytime I watch an episode of Rawhide this song gets stuck in my head and I can't get it out for lik a week. :)

  • @TeamJacob4ever18 .... Me too! -:)...

  • Lol, everytime i hear this, it takes me back to when i was three, watching this with my grandad and i would grab a broom, pretend i was on a horse and start moving my arm up and down in whipping motions lol.... I did it to bonanza aswell ahahaha

  • @saruseptember what do you think is best bonanza or rawhide? i have watched bonanza once but i dont know whether or not i should start watching rawhide aswell

  • @kallemick

I think you should give Rawhide a try. It's my favourite out of the two. They move about alot more then they do in Bonanza. It's basically about the adventures they have meeting people on the trail and solving whatever problem they presented or were confronting. Some of the storylines are ...deep.

  • @saruseptember i will try it then

  • .......Good Work! the still shot bring back such good memories of my early teens (I was 13 when this was on and we always got it in color as the NBC signal had to be adapted to the other networks... thus the 'peacock' and we had and NBC TV.... Thank you so much MIZ D, Sincerely, Daniel carroll Sunset Beach, CA 90742

  • this was on a kitkat add recently

    Hmm, you're right actually.

    Sorry, just me being mad.

    hahahahahh I do...

  • President Reagan's Secret Service codename, Rawhide.

  • cual es la original? esta o la de los blues brothers

  • Good show. Nothing ILLUMINATI in it.

  • @TheHasanMurat Shhh such things don't exist *shifts eyes*

  • when I was little I thought they were singing, like horn horn horn, pepsi cola mishen, ahayyyyyyyyyyyyy lalalalala, hhhhhhhhhhhh

  • Rest in Peace dear Eric Flemming! You unfortunately died before ! anyone recognized your major talent!

    Thank you for "Rawhide".

  • great visuals

    Super work

  • lazenlos y lanzen y herrenlos en espanol rancheros

  • Keep typing, typing, typing. Though your thumbs are swollen, keep those downloads going, rawhiiiide. Through trolls, Chris Chan and Mudkips, hell bent for DA. Wishing Steve Jobs was still aliiiive.

  • What the Greatest Theme song in the World!!!

  • I was 7 years old when my dad died. I watched Raw Hide because Mr. Favor looked like my dad.

  • I will confess to never seeing this show (young guy here!), but this song is SO epic that it makes me wish I was the right generation to appreciate it properly. See, old things can still be awesome!

  • yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

  • tryin to find that sample!!!!!

  • Frankie Lane = Awesome. Nuff said.

  • Rawhide: when I came to like Clint Eastwood!

  • @whactya Yup, you said it.

  • They just don't make series of this good quality anymore. Shame on you Lala land.

  • good music doesnt age

  • Generally I prefer '70s '80s '90s pop rock, classical etc.

However this IS a classic too!

  • @oneputtsteven

You can't really say "etc." in that situation, it's totally vague.

  • I arranged this piece for a musical performance at school, it was amazing :D

But the best part is we didnt have a bass guitar at the time, so we got one of our cello players to turn her cello on the side and play the bass guitar part like that :)

    how awesome is that?!!!

  • 5 people are sad that they failed to steal there cattle.

  • I cant think of a single show on TV today that has an intro like this or any other show from this period in time. Where did all the brilliant TV show intro theme tunes disappear to? who made them unfashionable, thats what I want to know. Bring em back!!! :-))

  • RAWHIDE!

  • Clint is the MAN of any year !!

  • this is so fucking stupid

  • @MegaUnicornfucker isnt it ? lol

  • @KellyGreene08 yeaa so

  • @MegaUnicornfucker YEAH SOOOO I was agreeing w/ you weirdo lol o_O ..

  • @MegaUnicornfucker

You Must not LOVE The MAN of All Years that All Women want or can have - that is Clint Eastwood

    Uou are a LOSER !!!

  • 2 words come to my mind when i hear this SHUT UP

  • "Bowlin, bowlin, bowlin, keep those balls a rollin',keep those ballies rollin rawhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide.

Don' try to understand em,just stroke, crank and land em,

soon there'll be tenpins flying hiiiiiiiiiiiiigh. Rawhide's calculatin'- perfect score's awaitin',awaitin at the end of his trial.

    {move em up,head um up .................etc}

    Rawhhhhhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide ": D

  • it's not as good as the blues brothers

  • Replace "rollin'" with "trollin'" and it still fucking sounds right!

  • this is the theme song for the boat called Rawhide (its a fishing tournament boat) and boy when you hear this song you know you are in trouble because Rawhide is on its way

  • wow, what a powerful voice!

  • Frankie Laine was a real vocalist -- I always loved this theme, remember as a very young kid and it's stayed with me. Watching reruns years later on a retro station I see why I've always liked Clint Eastwood with his handsome self.

  • @kariebeez you and me kariebeez, ... you and me... : )

  • The Blues Brothers even record this in the same-way country version

great song and great story with this =D

  • Never miss a movie by Clint Eastwood, I watched this show when I was 5 years old, it was a re-run.

  • Its on MeTV on channel 993 if you have cable. or on a different channel if you dont get that channel

  • WOW

  • @rileyjeffs where did you find the ringtone?? I'd love to have it!!

  • It should be longer!

  • I can't help but think of Jake & Elwood.

  • I'm 16 and I love this show!! I actually first started watching it because I just thought the song was awesome!! thanks for putting it up here!!!

  • @metrostationluffer Being a great Frankie Laine fan I have this as the ringtone on my mobile. It draws my attention when it starts more than the normal selection does. Cheers,Ernie

  • The beginning of one of the best Actors, Director, and Producer of our time. Not all his effortw were great but collectively he is one of the best

  • I grew up watching this along with all the other westerns and I really liked it! But, although I liked Clint Eastwood, I actually liked Eric Fleming better. Something about him turned me on! His confident, trail boss way was sexy! I heard that he tragically drowned while filming somewhere in brazil or peru? I don't know that to be a fact. Anyone know what happened to him?

  • We have The Blues Brothers version at home but now I can play this version- the one John Belushi & I grew up with- with my adult children for the first time! Thank you for the great sound & your super video.

  • Clint Eastwood bosses it.

  • Working hard to catch up on paper and computer work. This song fits the picture

  • Brilliant song, great TV series (ahh, the 60's) and nice presentation tnDianna, thank you! And as always - thankyou youtube!

  • My family and I watched this show , when I was young, every Saturday night. I'm glad to hear so many younger people comment on how crappy most of the TV shows are today! For my wife and I,( I'm 65), it's hardly worth our time to watch the junk on TV anymore! Ahh, for the " good ole days!" No-one commented on Sheb Wooley. He had his first hit in the 1950's: Purple People Eater. Later he created his alter-ego: Ben Colder. He did it all very well! And yes, he was a good actor too!

  • @kenmarsauer

CLINT EASTWOOD IS THE STAR !! WOW WHAT A MAN!!!

  • This is a great song! I could listen to it 100 times a day!

  • Linda6423 ,i agree i hat these actors now days they suck and im a 16yearold ,i also like rifelman and bonanza and have gun will travel all those old shows.

  • Hey Eme Tysm hahaha are you know:)))

  • @Artovolpi from your point of view

  • RAWHIDE is Eric Fleming, not Clint Eastwood!

  • Shame nowaday people don't like this kind of song or series, or making it.

  • Has a bit of a russian feel to it!

  • @lulle103 because it was written by a ukrainian

  • great tv series w/ clint eastwood!!!

  • @m16a1rifle

I second that emotion! But let's not forget trail boss Gil Favor, played by the late great Eric Fleming! Though after Eric was let go at the end of the '64-'65 season because of budget cuts, Clint's Rowdy Yates did become trail boss in the last season (it left the network in '66 after 7yr run). Poor Mr Fleming drowned in South America in '66 while filming a movie down there.

  • nice work! its nice!

  • amazing taste

  • I heard this in a grocery store the other day and I had to hear it again. Thanks for posting this. And I agree, this version is much better than the Blues Brothers version. Don't get me wrong, that version is good too, but this beats all.

  • a good old laugh!

  • awesome

eastwood is greater than macgyver than norris

  • Frankie Lane's claim to fame.

  • To some he's the new , & I hate to say it ,John Wayne. But then again he diserves it. The Guys a Legend .

  • @Lolyf55 Hey, it's funny you should world this the way you did. It was said in Clint's bio that he once contacted John Wayne to do a Western with him but got turned down flat.

  • Hey...this series had Clint Eastwood in his pre-Dirty Harry days! No dissin' the song!

  • yihaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
