brothers and sisters, this is the surah to listen to and recite for Allah's light to be place upon you right? and the one for moving closer to Allah til you become WaliAllah right? if there are stronger ones you can recommend i listen to and learn as well id be grateful.

@mikefan09 salam alaykum Brother or Sister if you want to be closer to allah i suggest you read surah al kahf on friday its coming close but i think the best time to read it is half an hour before the imam walks into the masjid for the khutba or maybe an hour before and stay after the friday prayer and read as much quran as you want and do dua for jannah in sojood whenever you pray but start with calling allah with his names and salah ibrahimia and then say all your heart's desire.

@mikefan09 and also there is hadeeth that says:' Whoever reads surah al kahf on friday allah will enlighten him from that friday to the next."
