As much as I would like to have seen Haley, Alison, Cat, and Crystal win, I'm grateful to Idol for giving them a platform. It's hard to watch them lose, but without Idol, I might never have heard them at all.

BUT after Scotty MacCreepy won this year, I seriously doubt I'll ever watch other than maybe the first couple of weeks just to see all the idiots. She's really special because she is so uniquely and outrageously gifted: Lee just a worse version of Kris. Ridiculous really when you think about it: two years in a row average talent brown hair/sideburns. Kris though is quite a bit better than Lee: Lee veers offkey often and has a very flat voice. Anyway ultimately as we all knew would happen Crystal is totally outselling Lee.

@LitZena I'm gonna agree with @mattdogggg on this one. She's definitely the standout. But, I was disappointed in what she did after this performance, for the most part. She "idolized" her sound/performances, which didn't seem as exciting or different. But here's the thing... Daughtry finished an underserved 4th - and in my opinion, he's the best artist to EVER come from this show.

Her song choice wasn't great, but she was still better than at least 6 of the other contestants. The season is now crippled. Crystal is very special. One of the sweetest voices I've ever heard.
This was the time the judges were praising her and making it clear she was the frontrunner because she was and she was consistently great and way better than anybody else throughout the season. It is sad to me that at some point the judges needed drama in the show so they actually manufactured Lee into the new competition for Crystal when in reality Lee was never anywhere close to Crystal's talent. The judges came through in the finale and showed they all knew Crystal was the TRUE SUPERSTAR!!

@daniel100590. I actually don't find that very surprising, whoever liked Crystal, liked Lee and vice versa. I liked Crystal and Lee from the beginning, and then I liked Lee more and when they did the duet, I realized I really did like Crystal more, because she is a more powerful singer. But I was so ecstatic when they were the final 2, it was the first year my two favorite people made it to the end. Then Lee won, and I was ok with it but Crystal is the better singer.

BUT after Scotty MacCreepy won this year, I seriously doubt I'll ever watch other than maybe the first couple of weeks just to see all the idiots. @kalinda011 I cried for quite awhile. I wrote VOTE CRYSTAL all over my t shirt in black marker. She's really special because she is so uniquely and outrageously gifted: Lee just a worse version of Kris. Ridiculous really when you think about it: two years in a row average talent brown hair/sideburns. Kris though is quite a bit better than Lee: Lee veers offkey often and has a very flat voice. Anyway ultimately as we all knew would happen Crystal is totally outselling Lee.

She "idolized" her sound/performances, which didn't seem as exciting or different. But here's the thing... Daughtry finished an underserved 4th - and in my opinion, he's the best artist to EVER come from this show.

@optimusprime2008 I personally think Idol has hit rock bottom with the judges. For as much crap as everyone gave Kara last season, at least she would give a negative critique if she didn't like something. J Lo, Tyler, and Randy this season are getting to the point of ridiculous.

@optimusprime2008 So true. I was so disappointed regarding Pia because she was amazing. Absolutely the most talented vocalist this season. Her song choice wasn't great, but she was still better than at least 6 of the other contestants. The season is now crippled. Crystal is very special. One of the sweetest voices I've ever heard.

This was the time the judges were praising her and making it clear she was the frontrunner because she was and she was consistently great and way better than anybody else throughout the season. It is sad to me that at some point the judges needed drama in the show so they actually manufactured Lee into the new competition for Crystal when in reality Lee was never anywhere close to Crystal's talent. The judges came through in the finale and showed they all knew Crystal was the TRUE SUPERSTAR!!

I have always thought Crystal had beauty, in spite of her hardscrabble upbringing and lack of funds even for insulin as a child. I'm glad she will be in a better financial situation now.

Atleast she made it to the top 2 people, I mean does she look like the type of person that would make it that far in the competition, no but she did and America didn't judge her on her looks til the top 2. Atleast it shows that America does have music taste left in them. Good job Crystal.

@daniel100590. I actually don't find that very surprising, whoever liked Crystal, liked Lee and vice versa. I liked Crystal and Lee from the beginning, and then I liked Lee more and when they did the duet, I realized I really did like Crystal more, because she is a more powerful singer. But I was so ecstatic when they were the final 2, it was the first year my two favorite people made it to the end. Then Lee won, and I was ok with it but Crystal is the better singer.

Crystal Bowersox should go on the cover of Rolling Stone! After Adam lost they featured him and this year Idol had an even more horrific outcome! Rolling Stone is the frontrunner in music mags. To all those upset about Crystal not winning - this was actually a blessing in disguise as she now has more creativity freedom when making her album that if she had won American Idol.

This isnt a competition. lee was chosen b4 the finale2, coz the 'ppl' (ie. teens/girls/women who vote 2000times) chose him, and not even based on his performance on finale2. No she trumped him in other episodes u can refer to the papers and those prediction news at every episode she was considered frontrunner, even up to the finale2 - and these same ppl predicted her win after. Real music lovers want her Originals on CD, not cover songs. get it?

No its not my opinion,. She was frontruner all the way into the finale 2 and that was newspaper, and pundits calling for her. After finale she was favorited to win. Lee's hallelujah was with big band big choir - to cover up his habitual off-key singing dont u know? Check Jason castro and Stan walker's AI version and its supposed to be showcase of vocals w/minimal backup help. Courtesy of producers who pumped him up. Her fans are waiting for her CD album, not some downloads.

Lee can outsell just for the moment because teens/girls/women who vote 2000times like u cannot get over him. But after 6 months-1 year his sales will dip coz by then u know he is nothing special and by then u are going after another stud.

And they all had back up singers and they all got to choose whether they stayed in the background or came out to sing with them. Lee made the better choices along the way & it's partly why he won. Stop being such a cry baby and go buy her music if you love her so much. But do CRYSTAL a favor and stop trying to represent her
