  • He is correct about quantitative methods. The immitation of economics is not only foolhardy, but flawed as well. It has made us more irrelevant than ever.

  • He is exaggerating. A lot of very interesting work is being done within Political Science. I would broadly agree that the trend towards modeling has had quite a few bad consequences, but "Rational Choice Theory" is not the only game in town.
