Well yes he did leave but remember the leafs were having thoughts about trading him? well I think thats why he left, he couldn't believe that the leafs would even think about trading him, so feeling betrayed he left, but thats how I see it, u don't have to agree with and most Leafs fans probably don't agree with me either, but he will always be one of my favourite Leafs, I grew up watching him.
