i understood the whole film, except the zombie boy bit at the end...what happens? they see the boy, he busts the light, and then when they put on night vision, some other zombie - the skinny women comes out and kills them. Which one is the possessed girl that the bloke kidnapped? and why are there 2 zombies in the penthouse? can anyone help me out?
I think the filmmakers left it kind of open to audience interpretation. A lot of times the facts that are unknown make it scarier. But..hm..I think what it was is that the old..man/woman infected person..was the person working with this virus (since it seemed like there was a lab up there). The boy might have been a test subject. That's my theory. But, as I said, I think the filmmakers decided to leave it vague so you'd feel that fear and confusion along with the characters.

I'm with you on the priest thing. But I don't think the the one that kills them and the one that busts the light are the same. The height is the major difference, and the skinny one is lankier. Plus, the skinny one has stringy hair and is almost balding, but the one in the attic seems to have short curly hair. So I think they're different ones. X)

But from what I read, they aren't going to be the same film. So both [REC] 2 and Quarantine 2 will be original films, which is nice. But also, [REC] is coming to DVD in the states July 14, 2009 it seems! Everyone keep an eye out for it and support the film by purchasing it! I know I will be. :D

I will agree with you on [REC] being better than Quarantine. But, IMO, as far as remakes go..Quarantine wasn't that bad, really. It was still scary. I've gotten more lenient about remakes after the one for One Missed Call..that was just painfully bad.
