We SAAB owners&enthusiasts are happy for GM let SAAB go ! But DON'T KILL IT and thousands of jobs and SAAB dealers/businesses that rely on SAAB worldwide! As a U.S. taxpayer I say that more revenue would be generated by SELLing SAAB! Offers are on the table for SAAB right now! GM, pls DON'T kill it to use it as a loss write off to pay less taxes. We bailed you out remember! SELL IT. Pay the tax back to the U.S.A.
I wish they would do that... but no, they're not going to do that.
GM is selfish and would talk money more than ethics. Besides, they failed to earn money by only updating their car's outer shell and got owned in the market with german and japanese car's rapidly advancing while they just sat there. They did the same with SAAB. If you bought any model under GM, there was no reason for you to change to a newer model... its the same core inside. Hence, Fail.
