The fiddle player on this recording is excellent. But wrong for this particular piece. But that`s only an opinion. Just heard some recordings of Mutter playing Brahms and Beethoven sonatas. The style and some of the turns are extremely similar. I see to much of it so I can`t relate too much to the authentic Argentinian soul.

Well, we're saying they're not doing well, but we're not saying they're awful. Far from it. It's a good performance, but the character is off. It's just saying there's improvement to be made as opposed to the complete nuclear destruction you say we're engaging in.

Excellent technique and all, but at 1:30 she starts to ruin everything for me. Sorry. Sounding more like Anne-Sophie Mutter playing a Brahms sonata at her top of her lungs. Its just too quick and enforced.

Some comments (such as yours) are better flushed down the toilet, or simply ignored... It seems that you have a problem with the tempo change IN THE PIECE rather than the violinist herself (which starts at 1:23, not 1:30, you illiterate idiot).

I don't think desotodesign has a problem with what's in the piece so much as how the person is performing it. Which I agree; the character with which this woman played the passage seemed a little too strident to belong to the sensuality that the tango implies.

Thanks for underlining my point. The problem is not in the music itself (obvious for anyone, with one or two exceptions), but in the interpretation. Which for me seems a bit laboured, particularly noticeable from 1:30.

The fiddle player on this recording is excellent. But wrong for this particular piece. But that`s only an opinion. Just heard some recordings of Mutter playing Brahms and Beethoven sonatas. The style and some of the turns are extremely similar. I see to much of it so I can`t relate too much to the authentic Argentinian soul.
