Obviously, put the name of your URL/username/blog name instead of "blogname". Hope this helps.

My advice would be to just try to keep your url short and sweet, simple, etc. Know that there are a lot of people on Tumblr, which isn't necessarily bad, but that also means that there are a lot of URLs. If you are entering totally unique URLs and still nothing is working, try going to *desired url* . tumblr. com and see if its taken. If its not, hit up tumblr. com /help

@iiCoIVIpLeXz That's odd, I just tried signing up with another e-mail and it worked. Not much has changed in the sign up process since this video. But, there is some sort of "Tumblr virus" where people have started following blogs that they didn't intend to follow. It hasn't effected me, but this may have something to do with whats happening to you. Best of luck!! Enjoy Tumblr once you get it!!
