Whitney has always had the best voice of all time and no one can take that away from her. There's a reason she is called the "The Voice/The Treasure". Anyone with a grain of sense about voice knows that when a woman get's in her 40's their voices change and they can't hit those high notes. Any record producer will tell you that. Whitney is lucky to have a voice after what happened to her as a child - do your homework.

@HorseLoverQ actually it is verrry possible that a woman can still sing high notes after 40..if they take care of theyyre voice it can be done...the fact is..WHITNEY TOOK A LONG BREAK AND STOPPED SINGING. so some things faded away..when you stop singing for a long period..your voice is bound to change..plus whitney smokes still..and smoking does change your voice as well

The negative comments are so cruel. It's nice to know that you are all perfect, never made a mistake, and never had to climb your way out of hell. Ms. Houston has nothing to prove; she's done it all. People need to understand that she is years older and will not look the same or sound the same. This is not a youthful Whitney. Aging, if we all live long enough, is what we all have to experience. She still has the high notes she is just working on her voice, by time she tours next month her voice will be crystal clear high soprano. Whitney struggled like this in 1998, by time 1999-2000 her voice sounded like her youth. She sounds better the more she sings.

Yes, I totally agree but her voice will return I believe wholeheartedly. Whitney has not really used her instrument consistently since 2000. So for her to regain them high soprano notes, it is going to take work. Once she is the middle of her tour her crystal clear first soprano will be back.

Yeah Whitney is crazy vocally when she tours doing things you can only imagine vocally. Their is a run she does in Heartbreak Hotel NYC 1999 concert where she plays with her heart, that was so sick vocally. Its on one of these videos on here. I never heard a run like that in my life. I am just laughed cause it was so sick.
