raves aren't really for the music, theyr'e for the E. I'll never go to a rave again, it's way to hard to appreciate the music cus there's so much shit going on around you, well, if you're not rollin' of course.
i somewhat agree with you on this. i've been to raves and rolled a couple times but there were points where i was sober and having a good time. but i do admit, when you're sober, you notice the messes going around, like people being carried 'cause they OD'd or people freaking out from having too much or people just having sex in the corner.
i don't think i'll go to a rave again UNLESS there is an awesome, really great DJ or group playing. i like events more like Hard or festivals.
hard is ok, the lineup coming up doesnt look that amazing though :(
electronic music seems unappreciated by many, there is lots of talent behind the people who actually produce good dance music, steve just knows how to work with the music and hype up the crowd, and ill give him props for his uninhibited energy.
