Titanic Deleted Scene- Rose's Dreams

I guess there were a lot of good scenes that they had to delete, like Captain Smith telling people in the life boats to come back to the ship for more people, and the written messages of the iceberg warnings being ignored. I'm sure they were good scenes, but the movie was so long already.

i agree that this scene should have been deleted, because it is a little cheesy and also for the movie's length, but it really did connect back to so many other things throughout the movie! At the beginning of the film, she's doing pottery and they also mention that in her younger years she was an actress. Also, the fact that she hates caviar connects back to why jack during the dinner scene says "no caviar for me thanks, never did like it much" and makes eye contact with rose, who smiles :)

I'm glad they left this scene out. It makes Rose seem to eager and just not as interested in Jack as in the original scene.

They shouldn't have deleted the scene When Cal is chazing Jack & rose with the gun.

After he screams: ''I hope you enjoy your time togheter!'' ... He's badguard was suppos to go on and chaze them.

Then jack beat's him up. But not completely. It's another proof to show what a good man jack is. Because you se Cal's guard at the boat when it starting to break's, with blood covered face and you think ''Why?''.. So why did they delete that scene?

@henkarars How do you know that? James Cameron said he would never re-edit the film, but that was many years ago. There's actually a version of Titanic with all the deleted scenes available to download on Pirate Bay, called The White Star Extended Edition. It's fan made, of course.

@MrZygoticmynci James Cameron also said there wouldn't be a 3D new verision of titanic at first. Because the causes could have been, senseless scenes, not the same emotions like the first one from 1997.

There's an interview which i can't find atm. But, he said that titanic will be released in 3D atlast. And they will work alot on keeping the original movie emotional fit to this new verision as possible. He also said: ''There will be scenes you haven't seen from the first one also''

I too would like to see an extended cut of Titanic with all of these scenes added. But, the theatrical cut is probably the best cut. Even Avatar was cool to watch in its extended cut, but for some reason, the theatrical version is still so much better.

This is a very good scene though.

Supposedly, I heard James Cameron and producer, Jon Landeau talk about making a 4-hour "roadshow" version. That might be what you folks might be waiting for.

the only deleted scene that should have been in the movie was when boat six dont return to the ship. that happened in real life but i dont no why james cameron deleted it.

i really like this scene! i dont think she's "Revealing herself" too much. in fact, it shows more of rose's rebellious and fiery side. just like when jack took rose in the gymnasium in some other scene, he told her "that fire inside of you...." its like... what fire? you gotta watch this scene to half understand what hes talking about

Well if you think about it some of the scenes are actually in the movie but the dialogue is changed...some are just earlier versions of scenes still in the movie. But there are some that are completley diff scenes that I'd of loved to have seen in the movie. They should make an extended version. I mean if Lord of the rings gets it than so do Titanic LOL
