Dunham is a good ventriloquist. Ever tried it? Speak clearly, mouth still, no facial reactions, yet maintain good vocal expression, change your voice & accent and move the puppet's mouth and other parts. There's one video of an old performance where he does 3 voices & 2 accents, working 2 puppets with his right hand, 1 with his left, 1 and then he drinks while a puppet talks. Forget being funny. Can you even do all that? Oh yeah. And he designs & makes the puppets too.
