  • This shit is heartfelt. "I'm out the front door, don't wanna deal with this BS no more. What for? I'm ready to throw this heart on the floor... Shouldn't know couldn't replace Mom's, my heart rand the alarm, situation was the bomb." Real Lyrics Man.

  • love that snare

  • i typed brooklyn and this popped up... I LOVE IT!

  • brings back memories

  • hip hop was free, fluent, and intelligent. Now its enslaved, commercialized, and have a bunch of retards as their representatives. Hip hop is not necessarily dead, just hijacked.

  • @gioDMP amen brother....amen

  • this joint reminds me of the handball courts at West 4th & Fat Beats...memories.....

  • I dont get it , rappers cant do it like this anymore ?

    Fuuck.... What a shame!

  • just heard the sample to this, The Awakening by Ahmad Jamal. I love when Premo does smooth mellowed out beats like this.

  • should i just not even waste time listening to the song and just instantly copy paste every url from this album directly into the uploader?

  • this song never fails to hit the G spot in my ear pussy

  • Havent listed to this since high school days- a classic indeed - perfect period piece

  • Beatminerz are my favorite producas.

  • The beat is beautiful - ART

  • this reminds me my family's old basement for some reason.

This song is ridiculous though. I love grimey shit like this

  • prem the top dj

  • @crack0saur its sader than wak songs like efin take a dirty picture for me by that wanabe taio cruz has a milion

that just demonstrated anyone can be a star with some tight as jeans, a pair of glases, a girls jaket and da correct publicity suport

  • Gooooooooddddddd!!!!!!!

  • A sadder thing is that people who loves real hip hop real rap music ,,also buy and liten to mainstream... how can this be like it was...with this paradox.

Im 10000% listening to real rap music!! all day every day!!! fuck mainstream lame ass shit ..quit that shit son ..support the underground.

  • ahh damn i miss 96

  • Great beat by Da Beatminerz!

And Of course it's not Trip Hop!!

It's SO hip hop: dope beat, scratches, lyrics

  • real style to learn for the dressed-up-in-gold niggaz to pose on their girl!! this is how it ended nowadays!!

  • one of the greatest hip hip mix cd's of the 90's i reckon. i've seen it available to download of the internet so many times, but i can't do it. it would be sacralige! i was tempted to buy a vinyl copy for about 150 quid but it went :( big props to preemo for this mix though!

  • @CGW420 you read my thought!! it's different to have these songs named with the backside of the cd case than burned into a regular cd!! this is forgery!!!!!!!!!

  • haha too right man. good to see someone who shares my views haha. peace from cornwall UK

  • peace from crete, greece!!! i love england for its best trip hop artists!!

  • haha trip hop is good. you should check an mc called kyza from london. he rips it

  • @CGW420 man his tracks are dope!! i listened to the songs "dirty" and "music and love". for sometime i thought it wuz just an artist from queensbridge tryin to step up but he's londoner!! now that's prototype!!

  • theres so many good mc's from the uk you jsut gotta look man. i'll give you a few. jehst, klashnekoff, terra firma, devlin, black the ripper. to name but a few.

  • @CGW420 man i haven't heard those artists hoho. the thing is that i listen to hip hop with acid jazz vibes and mostly trip hop. when it comes to rap i listen specifically

  • haha same man. i only really like hip hop with heavy usage of jazz and funk samples. i guess it's good to mix shit up once in a while though haha

  • exactly the usage of the jazz touches makes hip hop ambient and downtempo!! this is what i call trip hop! genre=hip-hop style=trip hop!!

    songs like these: 1)nightmares on wax-morse 2)dj shadow-building steam

you have nice taste for an english guy!

    keep it real bro!

  • haha you too by the sounds of it. stay fresh man.

  • Nice sampling of Ahmad Jamal!!!

  • I remember geeking out at my job when ahmad jamal came on the radio...

this takes me back to sketching, smoking all winter long ...

  • get shit straight.. this is classic.. real hiphop! it is what it is... respect it!

  • hahahahahahaha

  • rawkus sucked

  • this ain't premo's beat..it was just on his this mixtape..none of the songs has his beat.

this track has soul..it ain't wack, it's from mid 90's, a and naturally, rap changed since than..it is simple, but the sample is sick. not everybody has to be mf doom on the beat.

  • u cant not like this song its a classic and will always be no matter what u say so shut the fuck up and go hate on someone elses beat cuzz this shits fire dont try and bring this one down

  • Here's how peoples view it fams: they associate it with a stage in their life that they look fondly at...all that bomb weed, social conciousness, fat markers, hollerin at chicks on the bus or train, plus jazz influenced hip hop. You are right, nowadays people would not like it, but 20 years from now, the music being listened to will be classic to those who lived through the era...even if it may not even be considered a widespread classic. You make some good points though son. Peace.

  • yeh this is real hip hop straight fire

  • i remember this shit...whole ablum was solid.

  • Premo's prime

  • fuck haloween treats cuz aint shit sweet

  • barbeque grill smoke out 90's summer doing grafitti burners music --whoa!!!

  • wilsola obviously has not heard real music. probably listens to that punchline bullshit.

its ok though everyone is entitle to there own opion

  • or that newage bubble gum braindead shit.. sadddd.....

  • What? If the beat is so whack, then whats so dope about it? You make no sense.

  • classic hip hop.
