While this is ugly now, I like the concept. Problem is Segway tends to be expensive. If they can get the price down somewhere between scooters and motorcycles they may have something. Use this for short runs and light errands and save the family sedan for groceries and family outings, or the gas guzzling performance car for track days and dates.
I Love this Video and also I checked out your Channel. Very interesting! If you need any help getting this Video and your Channel exposed to where it is on top in all the searches. I found this site called tubeviews.(net) that has took my breath away. I'm working on my 4th Channel now, this one I just made. My Videos are getting so many hits now. Check it out and keep in touch.
The more I look at this early prototype PUMA based on its URBAN application, the better I think the idea actually is.
The average car only has one occupant at any given time. You can park 6 PUMAs in the space of ONE regular car and get 2 PUMAs side by side in each car lane putting a HUGE dent in congestion commute times, fuel use & pollution.
It can go 35 miles at 35-mph for only $0.35 cents!
This may be the answer once this early prototype is "fleshed-out" with full body, doors etc.
Probobly won't be big in the US. This seems more a product for the European and Asian markets with some limited use in major US cities (mostly east coast) and private properties like college campuses.
Thats very brilliant design. I never even thought you could do that with the segway technology. I wonder what the weight is because of all the tipping.
neat

If this is the best GM can come up with, they DESERVE to go bankrupt!!!!

LMAO!! Though I'd hate to see GM go (and they never will), that was a really funny comment and I'd have to agree.
