Not only that but TNA have the added security that they aren't pressured into being "responsible" and "child-friendly" by the media like WWE are. WWE have done well to last as long as they have. @the1musiclad I will admit, the up and coming talent, Dolph, Miz, Evan, Drew, they do show a lot of potential. What really made TNA shine was the X-Division. Even that is a shadow of what it used to be. I do love their emphasis on tag team wrestling though.

Edge, Jericho, Orton, HHH, Undertaker, CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, Jack Swagger are all top class wrestlers. New maineventers like Sheamus, Wade Barrett and Justin Gabriel are also good. Apart from the lack of competition, and therefore a lack of decent weekly programming, I don't see what's wrong with WWE.

As for athletes, most mid card performers in the WWE are TNA championship material. It's just that it's more viable for Cena and Orton to be the faces of WWE.

@TheShaizinator I do have to agree with you on WWE changing being bad. It's lost it's variety and creativity. For example the rivalry promos are less entertaining now and the hardcore matches seem less hardcore. The attitude era was off the hook. NWO was pure creativity. oh well, maybe they'll get that back somehow.
The WWE right now i think needs to improve on it's story lines and get out of the PG13 rating. However the WWE or the WWF will always be better then TNA.

By the way, highest paid wrestler ever by far was Hogan. He easily made 3 mill just off of appearances at events for the WWF/WWE (not even to wrestle). At his peak in WWF I would guess he made around 5 mill annually in the 80s (which was huge now and especially back then). In WCW he easily made close to 10 mill (if not more) annually. Bishoff was throwing money at him b/c of his star power and for his ratings.

@TheShaizinator I do have to agree with you on WWE changing being bad. It's lost it's variety and creativity. For example the rivalry promos are less entertaining now and the hardcore matches seem less hardcore. The attitude era was off the hook. NWO was pure creativity. oh well, maybe they'll get that back somehow.

The fact of the matter is this: Dixie Carter & Vince Russo are not and never will be in Vince McMahon's league. Vincent Kennedy McMahon didn't become the #1 wrestling promoter in the world through sheer dumb luck. Now, I'm not saying TNA doesn't have good talent - it does (AJ Styles pwns John Cena), but it does not have good management. At all.

By the way, highest paid wrestler ever by far was Hogan. He easily made 3 mill just off of appearances at events for the WWF/WWE (not even to wrestle). At his peak in WWF I would guess he made around 5 mill annually in the 80s (which was huge now and especially back then). In WCW he easily made close to 10 mill (if not more) annually. Bishoff was throwing money at him b/c of his star power and for his ratings.
