  • Nice. and thanks for posting the score, nicely cut in the right places.

  • I like this piece it's cute

  • AND it's not a song you people. Ever heard of the term [piece]?

  • Screw metronomes.

  • it's te expression needed! but played too fast...

  • Schubert also belong to the classical epoch, he was a contemporary of Beethoven

  • this isn't richter... this is an amature... it's not "subtile tempo changing" it's just hasty..

  • Sounds good, and I like the idea of posting the sheet music at the same time. Really nice.

  • Thankyou for this wonderful upload. A great treasure.

  • juz love this...

  • I have to agree with Atarax87. I find it surprising that Richter is so sloppy with the tempo that in this piece is Allegro moderato with NO alterations. His nuances in softness are good, but he should buy a metronome or oil his old one that seems to be sticking.

  • are you delusional? there are no extreme tempi here, and it is not I playing

  • @Atarax87 That was beautiful Bee Tee Dub. Don't be a brown noser.

  • @Atarax87 Who are you to discredit Richter's (of all people) interpretation?!

  • @Atarax87

ever heard of rubato?! It's a really very important expressive technique and comes from the early baroque era where there were no dynamic keyboard instruments; So in order to express music better, the artists used rubato meaning that they slow down or speed up on special moments

  • you don't play piano right? then you can't know something about intentional speed changing!

  • @Atarax87 Listen to the very beginning. Right off the bat there's a dramatic increase in tempo. lol

  • @Atarax87 i think this is the right tempo and the reason why they change the tempos is because they put their feel in the music.

  • It's a little fast but it is very funny it cheers me up!

  • Good playing, i'm working on the liszt revised version of this atm.

  • Can I have the sheet :(

  • The sheet music is right there in front of you. Just do PrtSc (copy screen into pictures) on your computer, paste, then print.

  • This piece is a hell of a lot more difficult than it sounds. Escpecially the fast thirds Im still fighting with them :D

  • What ? Really ? I think this piece does look easy and... hmm I think it's not very difficult to play. Can you send me the sheet ?

  • Are you a beginner in piano, cuz this song isnt even difficult.. its actually really easy to play. Grade 7 song probaly?

  • note wise yes. interpretation wise definitely not. I like this interpretation but I also recommend everyone check out the horowitz performance. it's superb :)

  • @darrens888 it's not a Grade 7 song, it's a Grade 4-5 song

  • @amylalaz123 OK... what are you trying to prove here? Does it matter what grade is..?

  • @darrens888 no, grade doesn't matter

what matters is how well the song is played =]

  • @amylalaz123 tbh, i dont really like this song..

  • @amylalaz123 No it most certainly is not a grade 4-5 piece. The thirds and sixths are very tricky at any sort of speed, it's a tough grade 7 piece in my opinion.

  • I disagree, I think Richter is closer to the true spirit of this work

  • how do you not see Richter's own originality and colour?

  • I play this on violin...

Do you have a violin version?

  • i really love this song...nice :)

  • It's not a march u tasteless piece of shit! He plays wonderfully!

  • Faaaaaaaantastic.

  • Best classical music ever!

    I love Shubert!
