Fine, I'll start from the beginning.

Mr Lange, or, as he is known here, ShortFactor, is an admin on The Spritas. One day, he created an alternate account - Dr Mange - and they formed a "Rivalry" - The entire ordeal was played for laughs, and to go along with it Dr Mange created videos with similar names to Lange's - both of them then accused the other of being a ripoff, copycat, etc. Everyone went along with it of course. I hope I have enlightened you.

@greatmovies334: The filesize was too much for newgrounds to handle for it to be in the sprite fight, but I do wonder why ShortFactor won't just record this up to the skipped part, record that part, then record the rest of the movie, though he's probably too busy making NASF2.

It would be pretty weird to upload a near copy of the same movie when this one is already established. I considered it only because the quality of this one is horrible and I can do a better quality version now.

1. 8 bit sprites had some flexibility that I needed. The GBA sprites had little to offer.

2. He technically didn't "ditch", he actually just didn't appear again after leaving frame. Make any assumptions you want, but he'll be back.

@TheSupermario812 Sonic could have absolutely SMASHED Mario's face in. Watch 2:38-2:54 and see how, realistically, Sonic is too fast an attacker to react to. Remember:6:41 doesn't count because Sonic didn't attack. He just ran in circles acting cocky. That's all I didn't like about this film. After 2:54, Mr. Lange made Sonic just show off, instead of attacking like a person would if he could run at mach 1.

So, yeah. Mario won, but that's only because Sonic was being an idiot for most of the vid.

You can turn off the "spam texts" by hitting the button on the bottom right of the video window. The Newgrounds version is in higher quality and by default has no "spam texts" which are a Youtube only feature. What you call "spam texts" are actually called annotations and they exist on many Youtube videos.
