Long time since I heard this, Years ago I was given a free promo album called FAT & promo singles from the album: Downtime, Numb, Dog, New Birth etc. The guitarist Gareth Prosser used to be my guitar teacher. I also have some of his guitar picks & hand written music tab etc. He used to be in another band as well called Painter Painter. Nice seeing old Prosser again.
Wow...I had this song on a sampler cassette back in like 1998, and I was just thinking about it the other day. I really always wanted to find their cd, but never came upon it. I think I need to hit up Amazon!
Saw these guys twice in the past live and we had an amazing time chatting with them at BIRMINGHAM XPOSURE ROCK CAFE the night after their roof shaker at XPOSURE MERRY HILL!
btw, A.D.'s new band is called Another Day and you can find them on MySpace. They are located in Houston, TX. They rock, but no electronic backdrop, which really made FAT a sharp sound.
dude, how about it. i still listen to that cd RELIGIOUSLY. one of my fave bands of all time. anybody got a copy or know where i can find the follow-up ep? I think it was called Trash Knowledge or something similar?? I heard a few tracks off it and it rocked even better than the debut album.
I still have this video on a vhs, I taped it off The Box (a music video request channel)back in the 90's. The copy posted here is pretty hard to watch, though, too bad no one has posted a better quality version, yet. I acually have the album, and there are a couple other good songs, but I think this is the only really great song on there.
Its great to see this video again. It seems like an eternity since i heard steve lemaq play it on radio one in the uk for one time only. I didn't hear anything of the band after looking all over record stores. a few years after hearing it i travelled to amsterdam and found it in a back street record store. it cost 8 Guilders at the time the best 8 guilders i ever spent still listen to it to this day and rock. Wake up linkin park Fat were doing this stuff when you were still at school.
It's true there's very little info online about these guys, A few years ago I found a couple articles and out-of-date fansites, and I was looking all day for that! Because Fat is such a broad keyword, it helps to put the band's individual names into the search engine: Adrian Rowntree (A.D.), Gareth Prosser and Paul Andrews.
These guys are very hard to find on the internet because there band name is so broad that 200,000 webpages result under google without any band references.

Even by typing "mp3, band, rock, etc." it doesn't work. And no music download websites seem to have this band's mp3s.
