The fact that he was dumb and useless was exactly the point. We didn't need much information, whatever we needed we incorporated into the classroom version that we showed in class. This version had the informative scenes removed, because they were dull. It is a retarded movie because it was SUPPOSED to be a retarded movie. The uselessness of the internet version was 100% intentional. Don't like it, don't watch it. Simple as that. :)
