In case you wanna decide on a starter pokemon to get, here is something i think you guys should know before deciding:

If you get bulbasaur, throughout the game, the legendary dog pokemon you'll get is entei

If you get charmander, you'll get suicune

And if you get squirtlel, then you'll get raikou

Choose wisely :D

Chugga, you don't seem to understand how catching works. If you don't get one shake, you have like 0% chance of catching ever. You need to status afflict Mewtwo and have lower HP than yellow zone.

I've caught mew2 only using a zapdos lvl50 (thuderwave) and a clefable lvl 57 (shadow ball and secret power for the flinches) and only using 3 hyper potions and 14 ultraballs in 1 try and I am proud of it xD

You can catch ANY pokemon with a regular pok'e ball, except mewtwo, mew, and that 1 pokemon who's god of all pokemon (forgot it's name) the one you need the azurel flute to get. But as far as catching any other legendary with a pok'e bal,. It will take at least 60 tries even with it's health low. But trust me it's possible to do this. Don't believe me? Give it a shot :)

Then they decided to create the ultimate Pokemon by altering Mew's DNA. I am probably wrong though... hahah.. as for the Alakazam, I highly doubt that's true. Although their stats are kind of the same, just boosted for mewtwo, their descriptions are not the same. They don't look the same. They don't even learn the same moves. It would have to be VERY LITTLE DNA.

I could be wrong, but hasn't Mewtwo been the very strongest pokemon in all games until Arceus? I think it at least had the highest base stat total of all pokemon before Arceus, with only a few that was just as good but not better.

@Rukishou well, deoxys's different forms have the highest stats. attack deoxys = highest attack and sp attack, etc to defense deoxys and speed deoxys

but yeah, mewtwo is basically the 2nd best sp attacker (after attack deoxys) and one of the strongest pokemon overall

@Rukishou Mewtwo isnt actually the second strongest of all. His stat total is tied with many other pokemon, he is just considered the second strongest cause he is badass.
