@mastermcgovern Yes exactly - just making the point that the melody was clearly influenced for Heaven's Door which is on the Pat Garret & Billy the Kid LP July 13th 1973 - not "75" but hey - that's splitting hairs and ultimately - who gives a shit anyway.

I mean I guess this is cool.... I love all three of these bands, but this is nothing compared to "The Last Waltz." I hope this was done with tongues firmly supplanted in cheeks. Style over substance.

Love fudabah's comment. Couldn't disagree more but the bluegrass scene will only grow if we open our minds and build the tent big. Variety of expression has always been a signal strength of Americana music anyway and now that bluegrass is one rail, Americana the other, and the performers the ties, just enjoy the sweet ride on the freedom train all!
