I did imagine Cabal to prove to be untrustworthy to GDI but Nod too? Talk about devious; my initial thoughts were he would betray GDI and help NOD to defeat them. It certainly was an interesting twist to have GDI and NOD work together against CABAL though.

How did Cabal manage to get Cyborgs into a GDI facility so easily? I'm sure they weren't just placed there by GDI themelves?

@RiddleAW They were already there. The Facility was a stolen Nod Base where GDI gained access to CABAL. Then you retrieve the 2nd part of the Tacitus from weird monks using only a juggernaut and a commando-esque unit. GDI didn't think about checking the walls for half humyn - half machine killers.

...at least in Firestorm the units gained combat experience at some sensible pace - not like in original TibSun, where when after a battle u had several units with two stripes you were really happy.

Though I'm still slightly against letting the GDI operate their own artillery units. And damn, medics for NOD infantry would be most certainly welcome...

Has anyone completed this mission on hard mode? I could complete all of Nod's campaign and all previous GDI missions on hard mode, but not this one. I'm not given enough time to build myself up, I get attacked by a shetload of reapers before getting a substantial defense.

fastly create 5 titans than destroy the bridge east of you base create loads of RPG towers and Juggernauts and You have to have at least 4 refineries.. at least that's how i did it ! :-)

Cabal was apparently difected, that's the reason they say Kane created Legion, an improved and obidient version of Cabal. In truth Cabal was necesessary to Kane's regeneration and continuation in his millenary purpose. Because of course Kane is something that is always existed, and has to return to his Eden. "CABAL" is only briefly shown in the 1st cutscene of KW but with a different face and voice. He's been supposedly been replaced by/upgraded into LEGION (the player). However, I still have my doubts because there're some things that just don't seem to fit in.
