I LOVE Luke and Noah and believe that they are meant to be together forever, but i would also absolutely LOVE it if they had kept Kevin around and had him come out and say he is in love with Luke. It would have made a great storyline. :)
Kevin was SO obviously a closet case. I can't believe how many people can't see that. Show some old clips to any MAN (gay or straight) in your life and they will tell you that Kevin is gay.
I know I'm replying to an old comment...I agree with you about Kevin. But it's interesting that this stuff is less cut and dry at that age. I had a friendship very similar to this in high school, but the guy was nicer than Kevin. Center on the football team...had me walk on and rub his back...we passed out together while hanging out drinking one time..very similar.
Ask any straight man you know if he would ask a guy friend to rub his shoulder, or what he would do if his guy friend asked him to rub out a cramped muscle.
Now if ATWT decides to throw in a loop, and have Kevin come out because he was gay also, but would not admit it because his parents... After Luke gets with Noah!!!
To be fair... 1.) There actually was a gay couple on ATWT in the 80s... we just never saw one half-of it. The side we did see was Hank, a friend of Barbara's. And 2.) Luke and Kevin haven't actually become a couple, and there's still a decent chance that they won't, since they've given no real indication that Kevin's gay.
I would love to see kevin come back and finish his story with Luke and end on a good note!!!
