  • I would have used the closet bottom space and put a in ground safe

  • @yf21bowman Thats a great idea but I have nothing to put in it :P

  • was that a changing table floating above the tub?

  • sweet. MOAR!

hope the mistakes got worked out ok..

  • Yea they turned out to be minor.

  • Very nice!

    So, how's the project going?

Good luck for the new year. :)

  • Happy new year!

  • Great set of vids! I'm slowly learning how to do this myself but my main worry is moisture, and lowering the humidity levels in the house for a healthier life.

  • Cool stuff, man.

  • The workspace that used to be a closet (where you have your hatch) put a light on the overhang - that would make a perfect computer work area.

I can't get over the fact their electrical code doesn't require a ground on every receptacle.

You have to be careful at this point, if you make too much progress in too little time, Bob Villa's henchmen may pay you a visit.

  • again another awesome video

  • 3:34 secret hideaway!

  • This is my favorite series to watch on YouTube right now.

Maybe you've talked about this before, but it would be nice to know a little bit of your background as it relates to home building. You seem very knowledgeable about it all.

  • Watch his first video on the house, he talks about his background there.

  • spending alot of time at kahma, you win the j-lotto

  • don't expose your beamage in public dude, they will put your name on a list!

  • impressive.

  • Awesome stuff dude , its great to see the progress on this project :D

  • "and i'll be touching up upstairs at night for a couple of hours every night so i dont interfere with them in the bathroom."

hahahah out of context that is hilarious.

  • Expose the beamage haha, should be a cool feature...you even insulated the floor, yeah that'll be great for noise dampening & maybe thermal advantages also....very annoying when you don't get what you asked for. Our kitchen, bathroom & ensuite laminates were all wrong when we built our house, but worked out in the end. Your really making some rapid progress there : )

  • hope you got all the problems sorted out bro

  • Love the escape hatch =P.

The exposed beams will look great! Can't wait to see it. You are doing an awesome Job, and doing it yourself is going to make this place more special. =)

  • Just finished watching part 3-5. Nice to see you making progress on the house. Hopefully everything is going as planned! Anyways good luck, and looking forward to more interesting videos!

  • looks like when your done with this your going to just chill out with a beer .

  • Lots of it:)

  • A jet tub? All I would need is a fridge full of beer and then I swear I'd never leave the house again.

  • Well somebodys got money to burn. Meaning who ever is having that home built. I look things up, its not cheap.

The bath looks so nice! I so want a japanese style bathroom when I have my own place! SO COOL!

  • Loved your two new vids man, can't waite to see the finished product!

Great Work! Keep it up! :-)

  • hey cool vidz mate!
