  • It looks like the winner of this trade was the Vancouver Canucks. Two drafts picks for Christen Ehrhoff who has become a marvelous two way defenseman for the Canucks, and Brad Lukowich.

  • He just won't admit the trade was a cap unloader.

  • Thank you, San Jose.

  • sharks definetly lost in this deal

White having an okay year in minnisota

Rahimi left for sweden probably wont come back now

Ehrhoff on a potential career year, best dman in vancouver

Lukowich not enough room for him in vancouver, more like a injury reserve kind of guy

  • Sure the sharks free'd up cap space and signed heatley, but what a terrible move when you look at the trade straight up. As a canucks fan, white is a bust and rahimi has a lot of work to do on his speed and hockey sense to even be a 7th d man in the nhl. Ehrhoff looks good for us and its too bad because you guys could have got something valuable for him, not just cap space.

  • im not so sure we are gonna get Heatley, as much as i want us too.

  • lmao OUTSTANDING ahahahahha they did it jus for space these guys werent developing at all...but best of luck GO NUCKS GO but it would be cool if san jose got heatly that would make the wwest interesting with the top four teams in the west being VAN SANjose DET and CHI

  • just happened

  • fuck yeah lol verry nice this should be interesting season

  • Funny cause white and rahimi arent discussed at all!! What a bonehead trade. Yeah they are get rid of cap space but you could have gotten some actual nhl experience? I guess not.

  • U guys got a bag of pucks for Erhoff and Lukowich.. LOL

  • If they don't sign White they get a 2nd round pick for some reason but its true.

  • lawl.. he called them outstanding prospects

  • definitely gonna get heatley

  • Outstanding prospects?

lol. he's in for a big surprise.

  • Sharks are gonna get Heatley

  • As much as I like the trade for the ~$5 cap space it clears, I don't like what we got back.

Patrick White has 26 points in 81 games with the Golden Gophers (in 2 years), and Rahimi may have a slight chance of turning into a Lukowich-like player, lots of blocked shots, a bit of leadership, but no offense.

Only the future can tell, I guess.

  • outstanding prospects??????? Patrick was a fluke first round and Rahmi is a 7th d-man at best in the future
