@sabeelschader98 The type of paper is very important. It should be stiff and not very thick but very durable and take creases well. The one I used was Stardream. Another good media is elephant hide.
Also folding the model several times helps because you learn the model well and avoid unnecessary creases and are more carefule with the folding so the paper gets less wearing.
@origamimaster4716 He he, it's not the model that's squeaky, it's the cardboard that's beneath it. The table I had at hand was too dark for the video, so I used a yellow cardboard instead.
@zwettles I have a friend who is an origami genius. He watched the documentary "Between the folds" and figured it out just by that and some experimentation.
@ordaudee first i wint to that web you said pbs.org and found the documentary but i didnt find the cp then i kept looking and i found the cp then i told you that i am thank full to you cuz you gave me the website and then you said that that you make no sense and their is no cp and that chris palmer thought it in the documentry then i told you that chris didnt ex plain it well in the documentary and then you said that i didnt make sense
@yousif976 Your comment about a game and that you're thankful makes no sense. Rephrase it if you want an answer.
Regarding the flower tower I never said there was a CP, I said look closely at the documentary. Check the part in which Chris Palmer says: "take this point to the center" that's all you have to do, points to center all around.

@yousif976 Of course Chris Palmer did not explain the method well, that was not a tutorial but that is all we had to do the model. There is a moment in which he says "take point to center" that's all we had and after a lot of experimentation we did it. So take a large square (70 cm on the side or similar) make the creases that would make the largest hexagon out of it but don't cut anything. Then divide those angles in half so instead of a hexagon you make a dodecagon (12 sides).
@yousif976 Then bring each tip to the center. That will make a smaller 12 sided polygon. Reverse it collapse it and repeat several times until you run out of paper.
I know it doesn't sound easy but that's all I can tell you.
@TheOrigamiCreator When you fold the tips top the center, you get valley folds. You need to reverse those creases and turn them into mountains, recollapse the model and continue with the process.
@TheFluffyFilms Actually this model is quite simple, but in order for such simplicity you have to be very familiar with Chris' method of folding used in Flower Towers called "decreeping". When trying to fold simply by CP, it is very difficult because you believe that you are only limited to folding through the CP, or taking hours to find and fold all of the reference points needed. There is an article on decreeping somewhere on the net, if you find it, it may make your folding a lot easier.
@mohammag There are no diagrams for this model, I folded by the comments of a friend after watching the documentary "Between the Folds" and experimenting a lot with it.
@mohammag Some people (like the friend who explained this model to me), have reversed engineered it from the video "Between the Folds" seach the web page PBS d o t o r g (or elsewhere for it) for it and maybe you can reverse engineer it too.
@ordaudee I did? Hmmm. I don't know why I would do that. You were the main person who encouraged me in its development. Can you post it again? I won't delete it. I promise.
@OrigamiTourist2010 I meant the comments you had made on my video, you need to comment something and then I could answer to that, is no big deal really, it is just that I always had the impression that you wanted the recognition you deserve for that model.
darn geniuses. just saw this on Between the Folds. darn you. ;)
