  • Wow nothing changes,

    they always blame/bash Labour.

  • you big fat tory twat.

  • Thatcher was a good prime minister.

This fattie is an embarrasment though.

  • Thatcher looks like she's borrowed Peter Hain's fake tan. The New Politics.

  • Cameron thought this election would be a coronation, that he could just waltz into Downing Street. It has turned out very differently. The Public are not convinced, at the heart of their uncertainty lies the choice between Gordon Brown and Cameron! Lib Dems are just style over substance. Between experience and experiment very many voters are hesitant over the risk posed by the Tories,Nothing fixes a thing so intensely in memory as the wish to forget it and the public ain't forgotten the Tories

  • And then in 30 seconds time I realised,

I'll need the votes of the common people,

I must pretend to do the things that common people do.

Then I'll shit on the common people,

Then I'll shit on common people like YOU,

What else would I do? I'm a Tory and that's what we do!

  • Labour have given this country away to every loser in the world. They are all welcome to come here and steel from every British tax payer. Anyone working full time here in the UK who votes Labour in the next election must need their head tested..!! Labour turn a blind eye to benifit cheats, illegal immigrants. They have disavantaged our country and sold us down the river in Europe. They have run the economy into the ground. It didnt all go on the Banks. They had already cocked it all up..!!

  • The Conservative Party is the only party that can rebuild this broken country.

Labour party has made too many broken promises and its time for them to go.

BYE BYE LABOUR WE WONT MISS YOU.

  • i will vote Conservative next time round but i rather wish that their European policy would be more anti. GIVE BRITAIN BACK HER SOVEREIGNTY!

  • With you on that, mate. I think most of us feel that way. Still, Cameron's going to do great, methinks, and maybe Hague can get a bit more edge on the EU into foreign policy.

  • Well its about time to see someone agrees with me! we need a leader who is not afraid to lead with an iron fist because right now the current government is not only a government that is afraid to lead but is a government that has nowhere else to go. its dead in the swimming pool of Hazel Blears second home, if you'll pardon the pun

  • Re: MrTT

On your channel it says you don't like privatisation. Are you sure?

  • @pinickityme I think your question would be better addressed to the correct recipient

  • Re: CR111

On MrTT's channel it says he [MrTT] doesn't like privatisation. Am I missing something?

  • @pinickityme I am pro privatisation. You have got it wrong.

Typical labourite always getting it wrong.

  • @MrTORYTOM Well it took you a long time to respond & I can assure you i was only responding to something I read on your sight [which i seem to recall listed your age but no longer does]. Anyway, where [if anywhere] would you draw the line on privatisation? Would you privatise the NHS, the police et al?

  • @pinickityme Well it took me along time to respond because you didnt send it to me you sent it to MRTT and the answer to the question no i wouldnt privatise the NHS.

  • @MrTORYTOM So you are actually a part-time socialist then. Or is it that in spite of your instincts you are actually savvy enough to realise that for the Cons to come out in favour of privatising the NHS would see their vote diminish to nearly nothing?

  • @MrTORYTOM a "hung" parliament will result in Proportional Representation being the end of the right-wing Con party ever getting into power again as an alliance of centre-left [Lib-Dem & Labour who command roughly 65% of the vote cast] will not require support from the Con reactionaries. PS - would you privatise education? I remember the state of the education system & the NHS under the Cons as both were underfunded preparing them both for privatisation. So what's changed?

  • @pinickityme No i would not privatise education at this current time.

The libs are more likely to join us, labour is finished.

  • @MrTORYTOM So you would advocate the privatisation of education & presumably the NHS once it has again been run into the ground [as Thatch did]. AS for the Lib-Dems joining the Cons - well we'll see eh......................

  • @MrTORYTOM what makes you think the Lib-Dems would align themselves with the Cons given that Nick Clegg stated in the TV debate that the Cons have aligned themselves in Europe [to use Clegg's words] with "a bunch of nutters!!

  • @pinickityme Well clegg will feel right at home with the conservative party.

  • @MrTORYTOM Clegg would not be able to take his party nor those that voted Lib-Dem who are unquestionably centre-left & will have no truck with the Euro-sceptic leaning Cons with him. although i would not myself be surprised to see the electorate return a small Con majority. But whoever gets into no:10 will become very unpopular given the extent of the "cuts" needed as a consequence of the behaviour of those bankers & their excessive greed which has caused this bloody mess.

  • @MrTORYTOM Still so sure about that are you!!

  • @pinickityme To answer your question NO

  • @MrTORYTOM Re: your suggestion that "Clegg will feel right at home with the Cons". Given the Con proposals such as: making welfare of the poor a service provided by religious groups [as a consequence of shrinking state responsibility - i.e. we'd like to help but we just haven't got the means to] , VAT increases [disproportionately hitting the poor] - to name but two. What in the Lib Dem manifesto leads you to believe these would be palatable to Clegg, his party or supporters?

  • "Chums" Lol...eric eats TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much food dontcha know

  • Yeh; I really liked Thatcher. Do you think Cameron has her bottle? Doubt it but fingers crossed...

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • long live thatcher!!!!!!!! if you like thatcher visit my channel for many pro thatcher videos /GEORGIANGUSTIL thatcher is my hero!!! i will become her in 20 years time-but in male version :)

  • No wonder Brown bottled it after That Speech.Conviction, purpose and a rallying tone.....roll on the election.

  • Sort your expenses out first Pickles!

  • "Barnstorming speech" from Cameron:

"Why don't you go ahead and call that election?"

    Fantastic!

  • "And as for the law breakers.."

Overall crime rates continually rose under the last Conservative government and have continuously FELL under this Labour government.

This is yet ANOTHER video from the Conservative Party with no policy content whatsoever.

  • No, "reported crime" has fallen. Last time I reported a crime, the police sent me a letter telling me about support groups. I'd rather they caught him, but perhaps I'm old-fashioned.

  • RichardPCManns. Did the Conservative Party include unreported crime in their crime figures to achieve their disastrous record on crime?

The dogma from the Conservatives only delivered spiraling crime. But Labours POLICIES have reduced overall crime year after year. Notice that these Conservative Party videos never contain any policies?

  • P.S. WE LOVE YOU PICKLES! :-D

  • Thatcher wanted a free and prosperous country? Didnt Adolf Hitler promise the German people pretty much the same thing in his speeches?

  • I was going to rant on about how Thatcher is much better than Hitler but I think my friends here who believe in Conservative values will agree with me when I say your comment doesn't deserve our time.

  • High-five! :P

  • A bit off topic but in the news I hate these lefties who complain about how much we spend on the royals. In total it amounts to 69p per person. Also we have not take into account the masses of money they bring into the country due to tourism as well as raise for their several charities. The royal family is worth the money and as a proud British citizen I will continue to protect this value. This is just what Labour wants to rid us of all our traditions, well I for one will not stand for it!!

  • 69p per person is more than we spend as part of the EU

  • Just to let you know that you have just used the wrong argument who is opposed to the EU

  • You can't call that an argument lol..by the way, open your mind a little bit bro, not all liberals are for the EU.

  • and us lefties dont complain about how much we spend on the royals...

We honor the royal family just as much as any righty does. Its when they start wading into British politics.. that is crossing a line that even u lot should enforce

  • 30th June 2009, Labour have wrecked Britian, the OECD said that Britain's deficit would climb to 90pc of economic output significantly higher than the 80pc level the Treasury projected in the Budget. In order to keep the UK economy in good health, it added, the Government should target "more ambitious" budget cut-backs once the recession is over. Significantly, the OECD advised focusing on spending cuts rather than trying to raise tax. The Conservatives need to cut spending and taxes!

  • To really be the party of change the Tories have to wade in with some radical policies. State openly that they will dismantle the socailist state that has been built. Reduce the public sector by a significant percentage, Remodel what we expect of citizens of Britain.

There is a real opportunity to remove Nu Labour from our political landscape forever So DONT drop it Tories!

Be Bold, Be Decisive, Be Radical, BE RIGHT IN GORDON BROWN'S FACE!

  • I agree, the Tories made the mistake of allowing Labour to hang on in pockets of our society, the next conservative government needs to winkle them out and remove these pockets, leave no hiding place. Without the state funded jobs and hangers on positions Labour will go bust, a fitting end to Brown and his cronies after the damage they have done to the UK

  • The Conservative Party Conference website is advertising a gay event - Conference Pride - in Manchester Gay Village. The party has come a long way on the route to modernisation and inclusivity, and this will have a positive impact on its chances in the next General Election.

  • Looks like the majority of us are in agreement. Now we need to ramp it up and get the electorate (and especially those who never vote as well) involved. We need a clear out of all the dead wood in all the parties. Cameron would walk it if he kicked out the 50 or so Conservative MPs whove really abused the system. We need to be whiter than white, not just appear to be and thats not a snide racist comment!

  • Just got another job after 3 months and NO real help doing it from the job centre! David - you've got to find another Maggie & continue to push for an election.

  • I own a recruitment company and have seen Labour's policies wreck the British economy, tax those who work hard and place our future at risk. Gordon Brown will make the outgoing Labour government of 1979 look prudent, left wing policies never work they only fuel the feckless and lazy to ask for more. Mr Cameron you and your team have a mountain to climb, I really hope you reach the summit soon to save our land of hope and faded glories!

  • so sad i missed the Birmingham conference last year, it was only a short bus/train ride away. cant really afford to go up to Manchester but i bet it will be good.

  • Yeah well most of you either werent there or were in short trousers. Thatcher did more good than bad and its thats the history books will tell, when theyre written. Show me a politician whose has walked on water and I'll tell you what you which hallucinogenic youve downed! What we need is an election ASAP, but well have to wait till Brown has got his exit strategy figured!

  • Took charge of a 'ruined' country and then rose unemployment...

  • full employment = hyperinflation

  • Unemployment rose because Labour left those companies in a mess, just like they have done now. Hundreds of jobs have gone from around the area my business works within, credit crunch perhaps, but a lot left or were planned to leave the UK before the credit crunch due to Brown's high taxation and costs, no one seems to have picked up on how many big employers have relocated jobs due to tax and nothing more because its been hidden by recession. Britian is going down the toilet under labour

  • She looks a bit tasty there as it happens. Wonder if she took it up the gary, she certainly made us have it.

  • Go on mate show us your Hitler and Pinoche speeches on your hard drive too.

  • Have you emailed Brown for his stalin clips or perhaps his McBride secret footage?

  • "thatcher the milk snatcher"...i used to look forward to my milk stubby and thoes two rectangular biscuits with the cow and milk urn on..

  • if it was so essential to your life then why did your mum not send you to school with some? Why should I have to pay for other people's children to eat the basics while those same parents cannot be bothered to balance their budget and always seem able to smoke, drink and watch sky TV? Giving away freebies only panders to the feckless, we need a new time of respect, commonsense and responsibility!

  • it was a joke...and my mom is very rich..and dont smoke...so show a lil respect and common sensse eh....

  • I was there too!

  • Now is definitely 'Tory Time'! We need a radical approach, no beating about the bush, just like Baroness Thatcher carried out in 1979. Hard decisions have to be made, and David Cameron will make them. There are no simple answers, we must put the backbone back into Britain!

  • I agree that SOME of Thatchers ideas and work was great BUT to a most part she destroyed the housing situations with right to buy on council housing without providing further council properties.

John Major f'ed up the country further, Tony and Gordon carry on John's failures, NOW is the time for David Cameron to take command and fix it.

No matter what who you vote for or want in power THIS COUNTRY NEEDS A GENERAL ELECTION NOW.

  • Isn't it ironic exactly 30 years on from Thatcher coming to power she is exactly what we need. We need someone to represent a right wing government who unlike left wing liberals have possible solutions not just complaints.Again we need to slay the trade unions who are striking at a time of mass unemployment but I have to admit this time they have been let down.Labour are now desperate for votes so they are letting in benefit hungry immigrants who add nothing to society.I say bring back Thatcher!

  • And what would Mrs Thatcher say about the unlimited immigration we have today that is changing the population profile of the country as we speak?

What would she say about an EU set to subjugate us to the role of a district council?

And what is David Cameron saying about it? The silence is deafening!

  • I just checked out the Conference website, and am very pleasantly surprised to see an event advertised on the home page called Conference Pride, in Manchester Gay Village. David Cameron is modernising the Conservative Party, and casting off its 'nasty' and narrow-minded image. By doing so, the party will become electable again in a society that is thankfully much more inclusive and less discriminatory than it was in the time of Margaret Thatcher's Section 28 premiership.

  • where's the one where she says "There's nothing great about [Leon] Brition

  • Anybody who votes labour in the next election is either a low life non working looser scrounger who wants to live on benifits for the rest of their lives or wants the UK to go bankrupt. Labour isn't (and never was) working !!!!

  • That doctored quote was said about the socialists for a reason.... not the conservative party lol

  • I'm 30 years old and a 'Son of Thatcher' and have never felt so excited about an election than that of May 2010. This will be the moment when David Cameron and his government role back the 13 years of Socialist dictatorship and the dissolution of British ideals and values. I just hope that David Cameron is not another 'false prophet' like that terrible oike Blair and that he truly delivers. I want to believe that he is the honest, considerate gentleman that he portrays himself as.

  • Good on you guys, but you have real challenges ahead... a divided Britain, with many mistakes to correct which could take decades.

  • long live thatcher!!!!!!!!

  • Yes, you've reminded us that Thatcher was Conservative, but how about bringing back vid's and speechs of Churchill.

  • Dave the rave, dead behind the eyes, no passion. Hannan's the man for me.

  • At the age of forty-four, I plan to vote Conservative for the first time at the next election. However,

watching the party try to gain avantage by invoking memories of Mrs Thatcher is the one thing that's likely to put me off - I've always considered her to be very, very overrated. The fact that George Osborne is in line to be chancellor is the other problem I have with the Conservative party at present.

  • ...country needs exactly what we needed when Thatcher came to power. We need a strong capitalist right wing party, now hear me out right wing isn't a dirty word, far from it. We need to drum up support for a classic ethos, those who work will prosper and those who come to this country for an easy ride will be instore for a nasty shock. Many people associate this view with rich lords but believe you me I am far from that. I am just in favour of those like demonphotography who do there bit!

  • How can I start? Well, I'm 14 and feel this pathetic Labour government will provide me with a terrible future. I live up in the north east so traditionally I am a rarity as most of my piers at school are liberal lefties who still can't see that we can't survive under this shambolic government. I have inquired on the conservative website to how I can help out when the next general election takes place and I am still waiting for a reply but I am not disheartened. I believe strongly that this....

  • Please checl out the Conservative Future web site@: there's an interactive map on there that will let you see where your nearest branch is, and find the contact details of its chairman. That will be the best person for you to talk to about getting involved. Good luck!

  • Your encouraging a 14 year old to take part in something that they do not understand fully? Even your YouTube username suggests you are an impetious little bastard.

  • This could go on forever us rallying are own insults at our own personal views so lets end it here. Lets agree that Thatcher did improve the country for SOME people and SOME poeple like her while she wasn't a good prime minister for SOME people.

  • A rich statement from someone who would dismiss the political understanding of a perfect stranger! Is it the poster's youth that leads to your derision, or do you take that attitude with everyone you disagree with?

  • I'm sorry but the fact you cannot spell "decision" disqualifies you from being taken seriously.

  • Get a grip you are only 14. You think Labour will ruin your future? DAVID CAMERON WILL FUCK YOUR FUTURE UP! Do you like the sound of increased taxes for young people? I sure as fuck dont. Please keep in mind that I am just a few years older than yourself and about to start employment.

  • Oh...it was Cameron, not Brown, who killed our economy?

Well, Duffy. That's a bit of a bombshell.

  • Remind me again of when Cameron and Osborne announced the intention to raise taxes on the young? Your failure to comprehend the different attitudes of the two major parties towards taxation alone disqualifies you from being taken seriously.

  • Thankyou very much for the support, don't you find it strange that MontheDuffy a self confessed leftie has to pick fault in our party rather than giving us Brown's ideas. Typical Labour having to just disagree with us

  • When Mrs. T came to power, I was 17 and due to her policies was able to train, get a career and ended up with my own business employing 18 people and 7 contractors... since Labour came into power, we have been taxed virtually out of business, I now employ only 2 people and 4 contractors... will I survive, the recession? Its touch and go only because I have no debt.... Labour for the working class - don't fcuking laugh they have no idea about WORK and EMPLOYMENT....!

  • Definition of 'chums':

term of address for a close male friend.

First, I am not a friend of Mr Pickles.

Second, the term is sexist. The northern club equivalent greeting for a woman is: 'Hello, pet'.

In the real world, people say 'Hi guys' and smile.

Pickles is making a fool of himself and the Conservative Party with his insincere use of this outdated, sexist word.

He is not photogenic. He is not media trained and comes across as a buffoon.

He should stay out of sight.

  • Actually, I'm a Conservative and always have been.

I simply feel that Pickles is a negative rather than a positive media figure for the Party.

He has little or no appeal to young people and embarrasses the rest of us with his silly comments.

We were all quick to say how Brown made a fool of himself on YouTube. Pickles is doing the same to the entire Party and should exit stage right.

  • Yes, Wilfred Pickles maybe, bot not Eric.

  • @philzer0 Which is exactly why you need Boris.

  • trip3newton wrote: "You must be Left Winger"

Yes, a Left Winger is now something to be embarrassed about being.

Those Left Wingers, always wanting peace, justice and democracy.

Those Left Wingers, always wanting equality and politcal correctness.

Those Left Wingers - why can't they be more like us Right Wing war mongers exporting hate and bitterness.

If you had your way trip, I suppose you'd line them all up to be shot!

  • God damn I hate Left Wing Politics It never works at all and pisses me off!

Those Left Winger's getting shot over peace how stupid! It keeps them in a job

Those Left Wingers, letting out Murderers and Peados out early. They also stopped Capital Punishment!

Those Left Wingers, making the People of British Second Class citizens where they are scared to speak their mind in case they get called racist.

Those Left bloody wingers killing our country off!

    Killing People no never!

  • I couldn't agree more. I'm a twenty year old undergraduate and if a guy came up to me and a group of girls and said 'Hello Chums', we'd think that he was crazy, couldn't tell the difference between the sexes or was having a laugh.

Eric Pickles is so yesterday's man.

  • This is worse than Brown's foray into YouTube.

"Chums" indeed! It is embarrassing to hear. Mandelson will rip him into little pieces and spit him out.

  • As someone who intends to vote Conservative in the next election, I urge you not to jump to conclusions about people who are making constructive comments, even if they appear to be unpleasant.

The fact remains that Eric Pickles is embarrassing to watch and is doing himself or the Conservative Party any favours by broadcating these dreadfully amateurish videos to the world.

If anything is odd here, it it that comments of the originator of the thread about Pickles inadequacies has vanished!

  • So to be clear, this isn't a sockpuppet account, and in claiming to be a Conservative-leaning voter yet criticising this particular video and man, you're not simply playing the concern troll?

  • Correct.

  • Having read through some of these comments it would appear that they have been written by Browns asylum seekers. Either that or they have been educated under this labour government.

    Respect the English language please!

  • Sentence 1: An apostrophe is needed in the word Brown's.

Sentence 2: The subject of sentence 1 is 'these comments', not 'Brown's asylum seekers'. Labour and Government need initial capital leters.

Why did you choose to use the present perfect progressive rather than the simple past tense?

The following demonstrates respect of the English Language.

'The previous comments look as though they were witten either by Brown's asylum seekers or people educated by this Labour Government'.

  • Hear! Hear!

  • Comment removed

  • Yes, here we are again. As George Osbourne once said, every Labour government eventually runs out of cash. They mean well, but they make a hash of it every time.

  • Comment removed

  • I'm with you - engineroomapocalypse - and I've just added to your thumbup!

  • ah who cares, the tories get in and we start the same sorry cycle all over again,in 15 years the labour party will get in and so on and so forth.........time for a revolution me thinks!

  • Too damn right, off with their heads, fat bastards

  • Somethings got to change that's for sure!

  • You know this how, precisely?

  • because its the same old people being churned out each and every decade, nothing will change because they all stick to the bigger agenda.

  • It's amazing how history repeats itself. Another bankrupting Labour government. Another chance for Britain to look over the edge of the abyss.

What do you think the millions of young people are thinking?

They are thinking that you can't trust a man with a red tie that's what!

We need to rid ourselves of this zombie government and soon

Never, never, never even think to vote Socialist again. It only leads to the same place.

Boy did they have us fooled! The Liars

  • Spot on

  • Thing is Nu-labour say they are socialist but they are more right wing than anyone else. All these bloody beaurocrats, millions of them employed by their chums all doing non jobs apparently in the publics interest?I want all the publicly run companies/railways all of it back, with the trade unions that destroyed it banned. We had superb infrastructure when run publicly, but it was destroyed by both political parties and the unions, all sold off to their chums in Whitehall, industry, all gone now.

  • So let's get this straight. New Labour, despite having avoided all reference to socialism for the entirety of its existence, does, in fact, claim to be socialist. They are also to the right of the Conservative Party. Meanwhile your concern for bloated public sector bureaucracy leads you to seek... nationalisation, but only if it comes alongside the abolition of employee relations. Moreover, when the industries were privatised, they were sold off to members of the civil service. Hmm. Downvoted.

  • I found Silver 760 disturbing, like a combination of East Germany meets Stalin, meets Harold Wilson!

  • well said, I remember the back end of the last Labour government, it feels much the same now, although Brown never really hung up his flares did he, his policies are a hark back to the old Labour ways and hence it was only a matter of time before the problems came, this time he has really blown it with massive borrowing, the Conservatives need to adopt Hannans 100 days to change Britian, really radical, accountable and it gets rid of the powerbase Labour and the Lib Dems use to milk us dry!

  • still waiting to hear SOMETHING from the conservative party on national security?!

its cant just be economy economy economy all the time guys

  • They have already advised the ID card contractor that if Labour sign up to the mad scheme it will be cancelled, that in itself is an excellent policy, physical security like more border guards, more immigration officers and customs will be far more use, not to mention increasing SIS/MI5's budgets, we need to stop people coming here to cause terror and remove those that ally themselves to it, ID cards are a complete waste of time as all the 7/7 bombers would have had one!

  • HA

    CHUMS AGAIN!

  • agreed pendorran!

  • I assume StandFreeAberdeen believes that illegal, unballoted strikes should be permitted to blackmail and paralyze the whole nation.

  • No one cares about them anymore.

Much like most people didn't care back in 1984.
