They have already advised the ID card contractor that if Labour sign up to the mad scheme it will be cancelled, that in itself is an excellent policy, physical security like more border guards, more immigration officers and customs will be far more use, not to mention increasing SIS/MI5's budgets, we need to stop people coming here to cause terror and remove those that ally themselves to it, ID cards are a complete waste of time as all the 7/7 bombers would have had one!
