Ya dude. I've seen Underoath twice and I wanted to see them with TDWP and Saosin with their new stuff, but the closest they came to OU was Houston, like 8 hrs. I woulda been all over Dallas. What tour doesn't come to Dallas. Thrice and Alkaline Trio missed it too. That was my two big dates for this semester. I've seen Maylene and ETID twice, actually Underoath with both of em in Dallas. Sickest show ever. I think ETID is the best live band I've ever seen.

Its crazy like almost all hardcore/metal bands I've ever seen, even the good ones, lose at least a little bit of their sound live. Like no matter how clean they play it it's always like low-end heavy and distorted. But somehow the only thing that changes with ETID is it hits even harder and you get to see a sick stage prescence.

Hey man, when did music have to meet a particular standard? And why does everything have to be organized by stereotypes? Music is just supposed to be fun... Production companies and promoters get together and arrange who's on the bill to bring in a crowd and expose different and new bands so people can have fun, get tore up, and have a posative experience. If you don't like it, that's fine. No one's forcing it down your throat.

It all depends on what song you're listening to. Most of HIL's stuff isn't harder at all. Esp on I Am Hollywood. But go check out some of the breakdowns of Suck Out the Poison. Serpant sickness about 1 min 30 in. You won't find much stuff heavier than that.

Ok, first of all, you're all idiots for fighting about the "right way" to watch a band play music. The fact is, people enjoy music diffrently. Some go for the band, some go for the music the band plays. Get the fuck over yourselves and stop worrying about who's doing things differently than you. If the music energizes you, then get up and jump around. If you want to watch the band, then do that. You go to concerts to enoy yourself. Period. However you do that is your choice as an individual.
