@spidermansidekick1 the comics arent always better though. most spiderman comics are really stupid. the clone saga, which this movie might be trying to to introduce what with gwen and her dad was one of the worst arcs in marvel history.
the only thing that the movies should have done better was the symbiote saga. other than that, spidey 1 and 2 werent just good comic book movies, they were good movies overall

@Johnlindsey289 well in the X-men films almost every charecter acts out-of-charecter and the attempted "realism" is stupid. I'm not really a Blade fan, but were descent action films. The problem with the Spider-man films is the same with the X-men films, the actors/writters don't understand the charecters. I've coming to like the X-films less and less because 20th Century FOX just keeps putting out mindless action movies (X3, Wolverine) to applease the Mainstream audiences.

Superman was made 32 years ago and it's getting a reboot and Batman got a reboot since the series started in 1989 then died in 1997 as it took 9 years to be rebooted as Nolan gave us the first live-action origin story film ever told and it succeeded, made sense?

The girl with blonde hair... is that Mary Jane? I was just wondering because in the comics she has red hair. I know that in the earlier Spider-Man movies Kirsten Dunst is a natural blonde, but they colored her hair to at least make her look the part.

i think this movie will be more like the comic books, with web shooters, Peter looking more like a high school kid and Gwen. I LOVED Tobey's Spiderman movies, but lets be thankful that we get to see Spidey's creation more than once. :)

@Johnlindsey289 well in the X-men films almost every charecter acts out-of-charecter and the attempted "realism" is stupid. I'm not really a Blade fan, but were descent action films. The problem with the Spider-man films is the same with the X-men films, the actors/writters don't understand the charecters. I've coming to like the X-films less and less because 20th Century FOX just keeps putting out mindless action movies (X3, Wolverine) to applease the Mainstream audiences.

Come on! If you don't know anything about the comic book's of Spider-Man, don't expect to get any wiser by watching this movie! This is not the story seen before. In The Amazing Spider-Man, Peter Parker is about 17 years old, and he invents bracelet's that shoots the net. It doesn't come right out of his wrist like in the previous movies! Read the comic book's BEFORE watching this movie! It will be worth it.

Superman was made 32 years ago and it's getting a reboot and Batman got a reboot since the series started in 1989 then died in 1997 as it took 9 years to be rebooted as Nolan gave us the first live-action origin story film ever told and it succeeded, made sense?
