As a Habs fan, I agree with the decision. I also like how the league is taking a step forward in explaining their reasoning. This is a step forward in providing an understanding of what is clean or dirty, and other factors being considered to not only the players, but to us fans as well.

many people would dissagree with me but if i was at shannahan place I would make a rule that any hit the head like that intentonnal or unintentional ,accident or not accident I would suspend the player to correct the players who don'tcare about hittingpeople any way they want to. Until most all players realize that those hits can be crucial then I would keep it that way.
