Is the workhorse stallion 1x12 discontinued? If so what was the reason/s for doing so seemed like that amp would be a great compliment to lots of styles of music.
HEY VS ... I want to ask if i could use the drive side as a booster .I have a distortion pedal and i want to add some dynamics and harmonics to it ,would it be suitable for the job ? if not what would u recommend?
I've noticed my R66V2 doesn't have chrome knobs as pictured on this video, mine have a plastic/rubbery texture and look to them. Did you ever design them with these knobs?
They originally had the ones in the pictures... over time we realized that, though they looked good, they weren't very practical. On stage, under intense lighting, they were hard to read. So, all the newer ones have the newly designed knobs, which eventually will be on all the V2 and GarageTone pedals.
I fell in love with the Open Road overdrive. This one sounds great too. Is it the same circuit? Should I go for the open Road and Comp 66? Your pedals kick ass by the way. ;)
If you bother to watch the really cool shootouts with a room full of voters, you will see this OD outdo all comers and the compressor is better than a Keeley. The demo compressor should have been turned up a little as its tone is better. And really an 808, this is better than any TubeScreamer mod and original, watch the vid, actually the best thing on YouTube I have seen with guitar gear. Visual Sound is the best, try them and see.
If I had enough money and wanted just a compressor, I'd go for one of those Keeley Compressors, but this Route 66 pedal still sounds great--and it's cheaper than the Keeley Comp!
I'm trying to get that old 70s overdrive tone, would you say its good for that.

It's supposed to be like ts-808 "but with a Bass Boost switch and far more output volume than the original" - as the manual says.
shoewax 2 years ago
Sounds like the same guy who does the T-Rex demos. Best compressor I've ever heard. Not sure about the overdrive. Which TS is it supposed to clone?
