Hey, i know its a bit late, but i'm trying to work out the quality of the case itself. Everyone always talks about the lens and / or tripod mount. Would you recommend using the case as a regular case or would you swap it or improve it in anyway? Thanks :)
I got one for my iPhone 4, and the pictures are very fuzzy, so much that I can hardly even make out anything in the picture. I'm wondering if the threads on the telephoto lens or the threads in the hole on the case are not right, and the lens is not as close to the camera lens as it should be.
My husband gave me one of these yesterday, and I am in love with it already. We went to a live show so I was able to set it up and take some really nice photos without being so close. Also the tripod to rocks. What I don't like is that it's a fixed 8x zoom, but that's alright.
how is it with video and does the case that comes with it work well with the macro/wide and fisheye lenses through photojojo? as in do they attach well and not interfere with screwing in the telephoto lens? im trying to kill two birds with one stone without buying a glif.
@cactuskelly i have the macro/wide and fisheye lenses from photojojo and you attach those with a sticky magnetic ring and since this case has a screw on deal the lens probably wouldn't work too great :)
It would be cool if you could snap a couple shots and put the full res files for download so we can take a look :) Whatever you used for audio through the outdoor walkthrough was excellent!
I was actually surprised by how well the lens actually worked, but I didn't expect the color to be so washed out. With that said, it is a pretty nifty device, but not worth the money.

There's other ones that are better but they are quite a bit more pricey

It really washes out color, and there's a lot of edge distortion, no? Does it have glass elements, or plastic? Nice review.

smudge on your lens? the after telephoto pictures have a weird looking spot right in the center of the picture like on the tree.

The tripod setup is nice but the low quality of the lens shows in the pictures, they look grainy.

The corners of the photos are very blurred. They sorta look terrible. Although the tripod seems nice.

Thought it might be good but look at the amount of colour that gets bleached out by the lens, and the poor focusing across the whole image.
