you could make some gruves on the front where the forward strings are so they dont get in the way.

Great job. Along with the many other comments, I'd submit, for the misbehaving strings you should cut a groove lined with Low friction surface (metal? glue? paint? Or thin section of PVC) maybe even little wheels. I think thou shouldst give it a leather stock. Lol dude subscribed cause these rock. Achieved my own c bow today ~8' using two quarter pieces of 3/4'' PVC about 12 in long one behind the other. Had the convex side face the direction of the stock so it wasn't so bendy. I was proud : D

If the rope gets in the way just put a couple pieces of wood sticking out of the front at the sides to hold the rope down

for the front part you should use superglue and baking soda and shape it so that the ropes wont block the firing part

duplicate the upper trigger part and pit another peace of wood between it, and glue that down.

so now you can have the rope behind it and your arrow with a cut in the back

clicked in there!
