The delay is most likely due to either home theatre system being on 5.1 change to stereo 2 channel to remove the delay or if directly connect to some digital TV's can cause a delay best to run via amplifier or hifi system in this case.

Do you know if there's a machine out there like this one that's accessible for the visually impaired?

@DJHey20 sorry there are none specifically for vision impaired users but ths machine is very simple to navigate
