@Tilleyass Yeah but in the 16th century there was a high mortality rate for both children and mother and kids were relied on for labor...more kids equaled more help on the farm. Also birth control was basically nil back then so if a woman got pregnant I am pretty sure it wasn't always planned. Don't compare a large 16th century family to one of today.

Dredful poor Carley, and Logan, mum why can't they just have their child hood. What is wrong with letting them go outside, and play on bikes etc. Your the adult there the kids act like it

I can't believe that. I have watched many episodes of Supernanny and nanny 911, but never before have I seen Jo having to ask if the parents do use contraception. 10 kids and struggling, and the mum takes chances of having more? Especially in the father's circomstances, does she have a clue what she's letting herself in for?
