@Fatallica1985 I'm a great fan of The Elder Scroll-Saga since I played Daggerfall for the first time. But Dragon Age goes more in direction of Baldur's Gate and I would't compare it with a game like Skyrim. Try Dragon Age: Origins on your own. It's worth it.

@Fatallica1985 You clearly have not played Dragon Age Origins if you think that. The gameplay, story and characters are awesome. Graphic-wise Skyrim easily beats Dragon Age. I do however share your grudge against EA. They tend to buy little gaming studios known to produce quality games and ruin them.

@BigBubbaHickson I just said that Dragon Age Origins is an awesome game, not that it is better than Skyrim. :-) Honestly I don't think you can compare them that easily. While Dragon Age is pretty straight forward and story based, it has some of the most believable characters I have seen in a game. Skyrim is great for its freedom and the exploring aspect. Both are awesome games in their own right.

@Senshinobi Westwood comes to mind. I don't think though that EA is intentionally altering the games of its purchased studios. EA is a big publisher, and destroying popular franchises would be bad for business. Perhaps the large budgets, ready marketing, and financial backup the EA provides tends to sap some of the professionalism in its studios though.

@amdreallyfast You got some really good points there. Personally I suspect EA to often rush releases to achieve their annual profit without regard if the game is finnished or not. Also, I don't know if the higher ups at EA have some say regarding the content of the games (but I wouldn't put that past them). Still, little studios like CD project (the guys that did the Witcher 1&2) are able to produce awesome games without a big company like EA to back them up. :)

@DeltaAirtran As a matter of fact this isn't the song "This is war" by TSTM but "Atlantis" which was done by Two Steps from Hell. So if you are searching for that song I would recommend using filsh.net to get a good version from one of the videos here on Youtube as to my knowledge you can't buy their older albums. Take a look at your videos and see which ones have the most views, lobby shoot out and forsaken are words that will bring more people because they are searched for more. Your going to get less views on videos with non-english titles. If you want views, the TITLE is what matters

Allow me to tell you just how dissapointing Dragon Age 2 was.

Everything that people complained about, the lame combat, the boring setting, the unimpressionable characters and story, I kew would be their from just polaying the demo. JUST PLAYING THE DEMO.

Shame, too, because the first Dragon Age was one of the best games I've played.

Because Bioware develloped fully at almost 100 % his game, it took 4 years, with EA, not even a year after the release of Awakening, they released Dragon age 2, the combat system is for little kids ( no offense), the game is way too easy, its always the saem place, the scenario is worse than in the 1, the graphics are almost the same, even for a game that was released in late 2010, the communications with other characters of your party is harder to do and etc.. Da2 is horrible
