Specially slipknot, that just continued everything that korn has set as a ground base. the same goes for ministry/NIN's industrial followers ( orgy, deadsy , manson ect...) grunge wannabes ( silverchair/STP) and post-metallica heavy acts. Plus some bands that you quoted are from the 80's. As for the 90, definally there is no overstatement about korn being the original one.
