For people that think smoking is better than chewing! smoking you get what a 5 minute nicotine fix and with a dip you get a 30-40 minute nicotine fix. You cant smell dip on you like you can smoke and dip is so much better

& NO hair does not grow on your tongue, its actually a bacteria that causes an over-growth of the papillae. it can be caused by several things such as cleansing your mouth too often with bacteria killing agents, even some antibiotics can be the cause.
@alicepiks Ummm...My father, my unlce, my older brother have all chewed for at least 10 years...none of them have hair on their tongue or any infections. I don't dip myself, but where I do, it's probably more common than smoking, I have never met, heard of or seen 1 person with hair growing on their tongue or bizarre mouth infections. It's not good for you. But that hairy tongue shit is probably crap they tell teenagers in high school to scare them away from it.
well in my opinion i think that chewing is better because you could chew for 20 years and have to effects and smoke for 20 years and you would have bad health fir sure... and when you chew you dont hurt anyone and when you smoke you hurt other ppl with second hand smoke
