  • Badass

  • What is the fuel consumption?

  • @AroundAlexander best is 40km/l average 33km/l. I'm working on installing a turbo to decrease highway fuel consuption

  • better eye candy than a boss hoss looks more interesting. good job i like.

  • hahaha what a beast!!!

  • Its no threat to any superbike as far as performance goes, its sound is no Harley, but its fuel consumption is like a weedeater! My guess is 150 mpg!!

  • @glennoropeza0 115mpg is the best to date

  • wow thats an awesome bike. how fast does it go?

  • @93hopeless 75mph flat out with a huge cload of black smoke behind it. The turbo will fix that

  • Damn good job man. I really like the orange wheels. I am doing my wheels a similar color as well. Love the diesel, how much did the engine run you?

  • @thenastiestnate The wheels are Krylon Banner Red spray paint the engines are around $750usd plus shipping. We brought three to Canada from China and when the dust settled they were $1250 each

  • Lets see it roll some coal!

  • @tr0s3ph see my vids to learn herbs as reishi, coriander, cayenne, dandelion, kelp, kale ETC :D

  • How can you say "The bike is actually based on a Honda CB500T" ?

    All I can see is:

    - a rigid frame NOT off CB500T,

    - diesel engine NOT off CB500t,

    - CVT transmisison NOT off CB500T,

    - custom tank and seat NOT off CB500T,

    - headlamp and taillights NOT off CB500T...

All the CB500T provided are the two wheel rims and the handlebars...

Good job though ! Thumbs Up !!!

  • @lambdavi The neck, backbone, forward down tube, forks, and rear axle plates are all 500T also. The rest is fabbed

  • @kitplanesolutions Yes, I had noticed the front fork but somehow forgot o acknowledge it in my post. My apologies.

    However, I rest my case, it takes more than just a front fork and two wheels to say "donor bike is...";

I can wear Brad Pitt's trousers and shoes, that doesn't make me Brad Pitt.

    Get it ? 8^)

  • @lambdavi You might want to read his post again. It doesn't say it is based on a CB500T but instead says it "Started" life as a CB500T. Looks like he used the frame, modified it into a ridgid, used the forks and front wheel and brake setup . I agree though, he did a good job. I wonder what type of mileage it gets. With the cost of fuel today building a bike that looks good and probably gets excellent mileage if a great job

  • Sounds a lot better than I thought it would.

  • @phizgp I was a little torn about putting the turbo on it as the sound is going to change and it will never look the same. But what the hell its a toy

  • Great build!

  • i want to convert my hyosung gtr to diesel

  • nice

  • Absolutely love it! ... roughly how much did this 'lil wonder set ya back?

  • @perrydasavage About $2000 and remember dumpster diving is a life skill...LOL

  • Very nice ...... sounds a bit 'tractorish' but very nice none the less

  • A very nice and inspiring project. Your chain and sprockets look like they're taking a beating, have you considered a belt drive?

  • That is very nice and unique..

  • great job! i hope your next build will be a hearing aid.

  • It would be even more impressive with a kick start :-)

  • Really looks good, very neat and a great sound. Better if it was sprung in back.

  • I am wondering why finding a dealer in the US for the CVTech transmission is so difficult.

  • @magicdaveable Most dealers are in the ATV or snowmobile business. Check out Manufacture Supply web site they sell Comet clutches which will work just as well

  • Hi, Thought you would like to know that your bike was chosen "Bobber of the Month" at Squirts' Biker Page. You don't get any money, or trophies, or any cool shit, except the right to say "My bike was bobber of the month". =) I personally love "alternatives" and find this bike very cool and interesting! February's page will go up around the first of Feb. Thanks for posting your build and ride the wheels off of that critter! Squirts

    Squirts' Biker Page

  • me da miedo!!!!

  • With an engine that size on it I think it needs a bigger gas tank.

  • nice and charming bike, but true power?

  • @vespA1352 About 16hp I'm just putting a turbo on now. Can't ride its -15c

  • @kitplanesolutions I think they were 18hp, 20hp, 22hp and 25hp that were available and yours looked like the 20hp which I really liked and will probably get for mine as well. I wanted to install a little turbo afterwards too! Good for you, I am excited for you to get a nice day to take it out and ride...pics pics pics please! :{)

  • @kitplanesolutions it's been in the 40'sf here and for the next week or so. I am itchin' to get a motor for mine... :{)

  • @MikeOBrien6640 finally got the donorcycle for mine. I scored a really nice 2005 Kawasaki Eliminator 125, brand new top end, excellent bike. Now i'm going to gut it, cut it and hopefully be ready for the motor in a couple of weeks when it arrives. Still debating whether or not to use the CTV or a divirced tranny like from a harley and then use a chain final drive....dunno yet. Love the build though, great job! :{)

  • About how much horsepower and torque does a little diesel like that make? What were these little diesels used for? Sounds almost like a Harley.

  • great bike, great engineering, it actually sounds a bit like a hog....

  • Excellent project bike there! Thumbs up. And she sounds properly agricultural, in spite of the fact that she had nothing from a Harley fitted. ;¬)

  • What a beast. Looks and sounds fab. Well done mate. Wullie from Scotland.

  • Beautiful. I am using the Hardknock Kikker and adding the Diesel! :{)

  • I like this very much, well done!

  • Nicely done! Respects

  • Very nice Diesel Harley! bet it would get good fuel milage?

and the truckers would look at you funny pulling that cycle up to a Diesel pump

  • Nice! I wonder if I can get a Punsun V-2 Diesel in Canada.

  • @jackpontiac52 there is a company out of canada selling them on ebay right now...AY!

  • @MikeOBrien6640 Do you know the name of the Company? Thanks!

  • @jackpontiac52 I went to eBay and did a search for v twin diesel and it is still there. They are our of BC, you can go there and look up item #350487863046. They are expensive through them though at $1700.00USD. You can go to Wunsun out of China and get them delivered to your door for about the same or less and they'll 3-5 day it to you. If you do not mind waiting a month, they'll slow boat it to you for about 12-1300.00USD to your nearest seaport. You'll then need to pickup.

  • @MikeOBrien6640 $1800.00USD sorry. You can also get some friends together and buy up to four of them for the same shipping fee. They will in-turn ship it to your closest seaport where you will need to then use a Broker to accept them through, unknown fee. I am currently looking into this on the west coast for myself to use and possibly start installing them into DonorCycles. We'll see....

  • sprocket looks a bit big eh? although this is a badass bike!

  • You know what? This sounds AWSOME !!!

  • Good bike;)

  • looks badass

  • whas car :)) dum dum dum :))))

  • Sounds like a beast !

  • Beautiful!

  • ever thought about turbocharging it?

  • @furmaster212 The turbo is on order. Once the snow flies I'll figure out how to bolt it on

  • @kitplanesolutions Nooo...there YOU have it.

  • @furmaster212 That is my winter project. I have a VZ21 turbo in hand and will post a video when its done

  • where did you source the engine from?

  • @Shadowpillar We bought the engines factory direct. The company name is Punsun but they do not have tier 3 certification and can no longer ship to the US . They have an Ebay store

  • 1:05 for starting engine

  • Really really impressed!

  • @0ShoopDaWhoop0 Yes The CVT does have a cover I was finishing it when I shot the video. Watch the video of it on the road you will see the cover

  • The Bike is to cool for words.

  • 1:54 how come the engine is moving but not the flywheel next to it?

  • @Bagadaboats The primary clutch the one on the engine is not engaged. The RPM is to low Its like a giant scooter open the throttle and go!

  • OK,I've got to ask, what was the total cost, and time, and are you going to make these for sale to the general public? When I bought my 1200cc Gold Wing back in 1984 Honda was testing a boxer 4 Diesel for the GW platform. Reagan wouldn't allow it to be sold here in the states (Bastards).Let me know (walterkbauer@gmail.com) Thanks, and keep up the good fight!,Walt

  • wow fantastic, it is fantastic

  • Haha insane. Cool! Want to ride this hot stuff!

  • Drools...

  • I see you have an oil cooler set-up? How did you go about doing that, because I don't believe that engine has that in stock form

  • @pyrorafter The engine comes with a oil cooler mounted on the fan shroud. I took it off and move it to the front for clearace reasons

  • @kitplanesolutions o, ok i get it, love this, would kill to have this bike, or a similar V-Twin Diesel Bobber. Just wish it was easier to make a manual transmission for it

  • How many teeth on the sprockets?

  • One word, beautiful

  • Seriously genius.

  • This thing is way too cool! Beautiful and the CVT is brilliant.

  • I'm guessing that's got a lot of torque?

  • monster vibration lol

  • Only 20hp? Sounds like more:)

  • You started that bike and i almost shat my pant.s. Gorgeous.

  • Great !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • From my desktop position im a little worried about the whole stopping quickly and getting a small key ramned into a very sensitive area thing...

  • Everything has a price tag... Send me what you would sell it for cash..

  • I was in love when I saw it... Once you started her up... I came!

  • WANT!

  • Nice build, but i think i would move the ignition key from in front of my bollocks, you never know...

  • @MsMotorcycleman It is running a CVT like a snowmobile or allot of ATVs use

  • wow whats the mpg on that monster?

  • @CaptainBig8IIIIIID average is 100mpg

  • @kitplanesolutions thats awesome! i want one!

  • wow....

  • Beautiful beast :)

  • NICE! Great work; obviously a LOT of thought and care (and taste) went into the fabrication.

  • Wow! Sounds like an eighteen-wheeler idling at the truck stop! Really beautiful look and sound.

  • That is a beautiful sound, me thinks. Maybe it should have some sort of cover though, so your pants don't end up somewhere where they don't belong?

  • About how heavy is the engine?? Very nice bike! I have a CB 650 and I love it!

  • @bonhomechristopher The engine weights about 130 pounds The whole bike is 372

  • were can i get the motor

  • a beautifull bike, but 2 small notes the tank is a bit odd and the place for the ignition key is a bit wierd.

concideringsitting on it, trying to start it :-)

  • @smoelwerkje2403 The tank is a one off love it or hate it no one else has one. The key was put on a small dashboard to keep with the old rat rod theme and is no problem to reach

  • Looks amazing!

  • Gorgeous Bike

  • sounds like a very powerful cruiser I think you did a great job

  • Man , that thing looks and sound pretty sharp.

  • Greeting you fromThailand Sir. Wow..it's great diesel motorcycle !! yes I like it ...

no diesel motorcycle sell in Thailand ..

    I like it ..

did you made by yourself ?

    what is the brand?

    Thank you Sir.

    Boonthip.

  • Awesome school project, if i was you , i would sell it to fund another school project using a Ultima 2 inch belt drive and 5 speed box, then sell that one, and OFFER it to ME first...lol...

  • ooh yeah I see those coil slots in the neck. my 1st bike was a 76 500t, god I miss her. beautiful bike!

  • @jockeyshiftjoe This one came from a junkyard as a rolling frame so no harm in chopping it. It would make a very cool bobber with the original engine

  • @kitplanesolutions lol mine wasn't as nice as it could've been it was just a rat bike rusted from one end to the other. here is a video of the build on it, watch?v=3KZfZSPrHg8

  • do you have a website? im very intrested in talking to you. thanks. -john

  • how far do you get with that tank? lol

  • @arbit3r About 300km

  • @kitplanesolutions Impressive for a tank that looks as large as a can of beans. Im assuming 130+ mpg.

  • @kitplanesolutions

Heya, Ran into you at fort henry .. was the guy in green :) I am interested in finding out how to build one of these for myself. will have to get it welded buy someone else as I dont have welding experiance myself. • What a bike, ahn?!!

  • Wheres the cb500? Top bike

  • @Warbeast911 The neck and backbone, front end, axle plates

  • @kitplanesolutions

asdly we cant midify bike that way legally

  • @Warbeast911 Sie müssen die Liebe der TÜV

  • Do you want to sell it?

  • you should really put a harley davidson transmission in it, that way u will have gears and a clutch

  • why do all the diesel bikes on the internet have CVT transmissions? actual shifting gears are a hundred times better

  • You try frech-fry grease?

  • @dc5000123 It will run on SVO but I won't do it I like my engine

  • man, this is awsome, so the cvt is street legal right!?

  • @NASTYTHEBOY Yes it is street legal

  • @NASTYTHEBOY Yes the CVT is street legal. Thats what Ridley uses on there automatic production motorcycles

  • @kitplanesolutions aw cool =] ii mave an wanna be oldscool bobber, but it uses centrifugal clutch, and i been wanting to upgrade to cvt, its full size and has lighting, so im wondering how hard it is to get it plates :D

  • 10 out of 10 tasty sounding bike

  • Very well done. Could have gone with dual headlights since you went dual tail.

  • This could be the coolest, nicest most awesome diesel motorcycle in history!

  • HAHA it sounds like a harley . Its a very well put together machine and very unusual

  • Sweet,i have a 27 BSA hand change gearbox that i'd use,you should blow your klaxon,i have one like it too,its on one of my bikes and really makes heads turn, lol.

  • Do you find it stalling on deceleration as I am told they have injector issues?

I have the Winsun in my tank.

  • i want one

  • I have a similar engine in my tank
