For those who say ask who should follow Christianity: the thing is if we're wrong, we have nothing to lose, but if we're right, we'll be blessing indefinitely. So why take the chances?
Also, i have a question: my mother brought this point up to me. If God doesn't want us making statues of other gods or biblical characters, does that mean we shouldn't dress up like angels or Jesus? And is acting a form of lying?
@kberry504 I think God is saying when he tells us not to make statues and such is not to put any god or anything before Him. Dressing up as angels or Jesus isnt problem cause we're sending His message out to others by acting like them. Drama's simply another form of ministry. As somewhat of an actor myself I dont see acting as a form of lying. I see it as a form of performing (like performing with a musical instrument). As long as you dont deviate from the word of God when acting, youll be fine.

I actually saw a production of Heavens Gates Hells Flames in my home town of Modesto, CA, when I was much younger. Parents were ENCOURAGED to bring their CHILDREN! Using scare tactics for proselytization is always disgusting, but when its used on children, that is child abuse. Plain and simple child abuse.
Years ago in my teen years I played one of the angels in this play at my local church. It is an excellent play. Jesus went through so much so that we may have a chance at eternal life. He is Amazing!!! I am so thankful. I love you Lord Jesus!!!!

People suffer a Hell of a lot worse than that their whole lives and end up going to Hell, so I think I could easily take it for a few days to become chairman of the universe for eternity.

My cousin was healed from cancer, she was 17 the doctor's sent her home to die, they could not help her, She was pprayed for 90 plus hours straight.
Today she is 36 two married and 2 kids. the doctors couldn't explain it three doctors could not explain .you laugh at Jesus ressurection instead of marveling at it,

This was AWESOME!! I just saw it yesterday and I <3 it!!!!!!!! The beggining was INTENSE!!!!! I was so scared that my heart was pounding so hard that it felt like it was gonna pound right out of my chest!!! I cried like I'd never cried before!! And the night I saw this was the night I became saved!
I believe this is the play the churches used to put on every year when I was a kid. I only saw it once but it stuck with me, even though I could never remember the name. If I am remembering correctly, it was an intense, sometimes scary play.
This is not intended to terrorize anyone both heaven and hell are real. God and Satan also real. The point of this play is to show people that Jesus Christ died so they can live in heaven with him for eternity.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
No religion should try to terrify people, especially kids, into believe in it. I saw this as a kid 3 times and it is a huge reason that I turned away from Christianity in my adult life. No god that I want to believe in would ever allow an abomination like this represent his Love. The creators of this play, and the parents who let their kids watch it, should be ashamed of themselves. Shame on you.

However, I've seen plenty of people pray to be cured and die. I've also seen plenty of atheists get medical treatment and be cured.
As far as what I see, doctors are Jesus Christ and they help you whether you pray for help or not.

There is no difference is treatment success rates between religious people and atheists. There is also no difference of people "miraculously" getting over life threatening ailments between religious people and ailments. Here, I'll send you a study.

My evidence of healing is real and I keep telling you about my cousin being healed from cancer when doctors said there is no hope for her. evidence of god is all around you. things spoke of in the bible is happening today. the arabs are trying to take Israel. that was written in the Bible, earth quakes in various places

Galileo was the one who was almost killed by the Roman Catholic Church for saying the Earth was round. They let him off easy and only sentenced him to house arrest for the rest of his life. They killed the other guy who said it.

I believe this is the play the churches used to put on every year when I was a kid. I only saw it once but it stuck with me, even though I could never remember the name. If I am remembering correctly, it was an intense, sometimes scary play.

No religion should try to terrify people, especially kids, into believe in it. I saw this as a kid 3 times and it is a huge reason that I turned away from Christianity in my adult life. No god that I want to believe in would ever allow an abomination like this represent his Love. The creators of this play, and the parents who let their kids watch it, should be ashamed of themselves. I saw the play just yesterday here in Alabama and it was AWESOME! When Jesus defeated Satan and took the keys to heaven away from him and when he went up to the stairs and raised the keys into the air, that was truly one awesome moment of AWESOMENESS!!!
