I had a moment like this on Thursday- cat chased a mouse into my house. 3 hours of me trying to coax the mouse out from behind my fridge before i decided to employ the cat to catch the mouse in order to take the mouse from the cat to free it.
Unfortunately I dozed off; woke to sounds of a mouse screaming in my kitchen. Most surreal thing; still dreaming, picked up the mouse, wondering why my finger felt clamped and blood was running down it... Got mouse outside but he wouldnt let go of me...
... his teeth were firmly wedged in my finger... he eventually dropped off my hand but left a tooth behind.
I'm ok, had tetanus jab couple yrs ago, but hoping the mouse is ok :-(
My cat was SERIOUSLY mad at me for a few hrs, taking his prey from him!! He stomped off to the bedroom and wouldnt speak to me! If he had opposable thumbs he would've been door slamming!
Had to rescue another mouse from under my cats paw today in the garden. Not sure if it was the same mouse- he wasn't smiling ;-)
Poor little thing. I'm very fond of lizards, ended up keeping one by defualt some years ago. He had a wonderful character. Fascinating the motion of the tail, a dance, infinity.
