I think that it is amazing how brillant they are to make every gig seem special. So much more the disillusion noticing the "routines". Youtube, bootlegs etc have made it possible to see performances again and again, and it is a doubleedged sword. OF COURSE it has to be standardized as a opera, exact moves, phrases, expressions etc. Even though DG is a role, a role we know and adore and feel connected to - its impossibe not to get things confused.

It is a one-way thing and how weird is that.

I was there. both nights front row. First show in front of D and 2nd in front of M - so close and yet so far.

Cant help thinking of an intimate Prince concert playing the playing the entire gig with his back on the audience..;-)

Dave did his role with accurate precision, and I enjoyed the new added feaures - Dave & Martin headbanging during I feel You, Dave & Martin kissing and not at least - the new "Mmmm" utter from Dave.

Guess it has to make up for Strangelove, M&S, FOTWS and WFTN missing

First evening better than the second...my opinion.Second one more like a day at work,but one have to understand,that it´s hard to make every evening speciell....
