OK, I don't speak Indian, I've never heard of this film and this is what I got from this scene: these are brothers, one became a policeman and the other a criminal, this is their mother and here she rejects or denies the criminal brother, who seems to be the oldest, although she loves him and it hurts her to do so. And maybe, just maybe, the younger brother is hunting the older-criminal one.

I hope I'm right, tell me if I am or not, please.

Criminal one also is very caring about his mother had seen day to day struggle of her mother and his only focus was to make her mother happy and when she decides to leave because she realized that all the money and happiness she enjoyed is coming through was of crime. This is devastating for the son.

This film Deewar is unique in itself.. each & every sequence in this film is full of MIND BLOWING dialogues. It beats Sholay in respect of dialogues.

I havent seen a more concerted, & well directed film in Hindi Cinema than this.

If you dont get excited with the hitech scifi hollywood flicks and are looking for really story oriented and emotion filled movies, Bollywood has some great ones to offer, with the exception of many trashy song and dance flicks.
