I wonder how the shocks made to be on an airbagged suspension (at the different load capacities of the different ride height settings) differ from, say, a bypass shock made for a long travel vehicle.. the technology behind the two, I am curious how it differs, or even more interesting, if it is the same but just scaled down..

Its a trip how small those things are, being an off-road Guy and dealing with the longer shocks. I know they handle just as.great, but its just a trip to see how much shorter they need to be for the suspension travel of a bagged full-size GM truck/suv vs. A long traveled truck/suv.. Cheers!!

Hi Steve, pimp shit all the way! Ive got my 09 escalade dropped 4-5 in in front 3in springs and 2in spindles and 5 inch belltech springs in back. Yet, the back still rides 2inches higher than the front., plus one side is a little higher than the other. Im pretty sure I need the panhard bar for that but how do I get it lower? Do I cut the rear springs or do they make 7inch drop springs? Ive played with the stock airride and it wont go any lower. Thanks for all your great videos and help! Tony

Steve, just curious, saw him torqueing on the lugnuts with just the air gun... Is the airgun just adjusted to where it needs to be or are you using a torque bar? (I'm in auto school, just wondering what/how yall were tightening them down). We use torque bars with different settings so we can torque the lugs down to the exact tightness with no chance of overtightening. Just curious dude, -j

@jberkhimer I Have used those so called torque sticks and have checked the lug nuts after that with a torque wrench and those sticks are kinda accurate. A Mechanic that has used the same gun every day knows that the one , two second pull is the same tightness.. which is the important thing,, that all are tightened equally ..
