good playing, but terrible drums..sorry....you want acrylic. you go with the pioneers..zickos, fibes , ludwig, RCI star lite..and new companies like C&C, or Craviotto..these have no resonance, punch, or power..they sound like boxes to me..i've been playing for 28 yrs, have worked in studio as an engineer and drum tech ,and have had the pleasure of recording some of the finest acrylic drums, namely ludwig.. don't mean to offend anyone, just stating a fact..
@blica1 It's understandable why you'd think that, but this channel does no justice to anything but snare drums and, once in a great while, bass drums. I've brought it up with them before that they need to start getting a grip on tuning, but no matter what people say, they just don't listen. It's obviously not the best drum shop in the world. I'm sure that these drums, like most acrylic shells, have a tremendous amount of low and and punch, given the correct tuning.
how much do these run and can you buy separate pieces or order them custom like that? I think they would good in my one durm room and fine for recording that has hard wood floors because maple often sounds too much in my room.
acrylic drums can be amazing. this kit is just sort of alright

They sound pretty bad... Way to hollow, probably due to tuning.

@myrtia dont you see he sits higher on that fuckin chair ..so it looks smaller compared to his leg position.
TheFlashmajster 2 months ago
@myrtia I think its because he sits fairly high, and the camera angle.

Get someone else to demo your kits, he makes it look like you sell junior kits only.

is better this or is better in Maple???
manubestdrummer98 9 months ago
@manubestdrummer98
Depends what sound you're going for. Maple will have a much warmer tone. Acrylic drums have a very raw powerful tone.
Acrylic is really great for playing live and jamming. For recording maple is the way to go.
