Jose plays it on a classical guitar with nylon-strings. Thats why it sounds different! Its much harder to play on a steel-string, i can tell.

he's playing an acoustic guitar, jose is playing a classical guitar, there's your difference ;)

Classical is Nylon only

Acoustic is Steel/Bronze only

Classical is More wide so you can finger-pick the strings much easier

Acoustic is More Thin, you can still finger-pick but you finger can easily flick an unwanted string
