Why do the aquarium catchers make false accusations, resort to name calling and personal attack? The issue here is massive extraction of colorful fish from Hawaii reefs for the aquarium trade. Can any aquarium catcher make a case for this? Can any aquarium catcher say that Hawaii reefs have more fish now than 10 years ago? Or a year ago?

I really hate when you try to use kapuna in this video to back your fight. You misinformed the kapuna. The kupans in the old days would have approached the actual fisherman and asked for advice. Not started a campaign based on lies so that one rich man (robert wintner) could have a large tax deduction. The man you guys are supporting does more damage than anyone person in Hawaii. I WILL PROVE IT. Please use your common sense and do not trust a haole that has a house in Washington

Damaging coral and emptying reefs is not fishing. It's vandalism. The aquarium catchers of Hawaii have screamed bloody murder at every call for regulation or limitation. What "fishery" should not be regulated? This greedy, self-serving reef killer calling himself a resource protector is like Herman Goering claiming membership to B'nai Brith. Bah! So who you going to believe, rgbmatt or your own lying eyes. rgbmatt is an Oahu collector with no scientific data whatsoever to prove that his unregulated extraction from Hawaii reefs is "sustainable." He wants to sustain his wallet. His tireless, tedious effort to discredit those who protect vanishing habitat and resources should be implicit in his words. rbbmatt--get a new line of work.

You're not going to fool the people of Hawaii with your lies and fake statistics. We can do a perfectly good job of protecting our resources without this kind of BS.

This video is a lie - there is no way that that many fish are being exported from Hawaii. The people who made this video are animal rights activists who have no scientific basis for their claims. The Hawaii aquarium fishery is the most sustainable fishery in the state.
