from personal experience, anguillians for the most part understand how important tourism is, it's a large percent of their income. and on my last visit in december we were told the viceroy resort is a wasteland. upon a quick drive through there was no one around, i forgot the whole story though, eep!

the people are very friendly to tourists from what i've experienced, some people are obviously assholes (on both behalfs) but i have nothing but good things to say about it!

Jamaica - Ditto, but less of them. Haiti - Complete poverty and no food.
