Man I loved this cheesey game. I loved the characters and the simplicity of the controls. I like the anime like feel to it with the episodic treatment. Danzaiver and Keiya were my favourite characters.

In 2002 or 2003, I believe.

They were indeed planning to make a sequel. It just never happened.

Which is a shame, because a lot of really great concepts died with this game.

I literally started playing this yesterday and I love it.

I finished the story with Danzaiver. I somehow managed to pull off his epic sword finisher on the last boss and ended the fight with it. It was so epic.

Man I used to play this game so much when it was first released. I was so obsessed with manga and anime in the late 90's, I'd buy any PS1 game with anime in it, regardless if it was good or not. Bought this for £39.99 with no idea as to whether it'd be good or not (reviews were negative) but I loved every aspect of this game. They put so much effort into the locations, animations, voice acting, music and modes.

@djcodyb Sadly not - However I'm fairly certain the game has become abandonware by now, especially since the publisher closed shop six years ago. If you can find a digital copy of the game online, it's -very- easy to play using a Playstation emulator.

Honestly the Wii would be the best choice for a game like this. People will complain if the graphics aren't overemphasized if its on the PS3 which is going to cost to much more money than necessary. This game was good because it was simple and too the point

@krizzex I don't just like one game system if that's what you are getting at. I like every system including the old ones. I had this game and loved playing it. I'd say the war between PS3 and 360 fans is getting worse while the wii stays neutral. I wouldn't mind if the gaming companies made remakes of classics that are available for all systems, but then again some of the fans won't take that well

your best bet is finding the disc image through eMule. and then try to play it on a playstation emulator for PC (unless you have a chipped playstation). Or you might be able to find the original on ebay.

This is fu*kin awesome. :) I have this game and I've played it WAAAY too much, but seeing this makes me want to play it again. Danzavier is and will always be my favorite character. One comment though is that whoever is playing this doesn't seem to be going very quick with Danzavier. He's a lot faster than this.
